Review of chapter "Midway to Iscandar... (nBSG / Star Blazers 2199)" from Duchess
Review:
LOL I didn't actually read the chapter title, but the description of the ship made me know it was Starblazers. I haven't seen that show since I was 14 years old. Wow.......
Comments from author:
Glad I could bring up some childhood memories, then.

Review:
Neat-o! You've got me humming the "Star Blazers" theme song and grinning like a fool. :)
Comments from author:
May I recommend "Fight for Liberty", the theme for the same show with 120% more J-Pop?

Review of chapter "Midway to Iscandar... (nBSG / Star Blazers 2199)" from (Recent Donor)DaveTurner
Review:
Not bad for a ship sunk by the US Navy.
Comments from author:
I know, they don't really mention that in the Anime.... but the spaceship version is much tougher then the historical one, carries fighters, and is generally much more awesome. Besides, is it really a surprise that a battleship with limited AA lost to a carrier filled with torpedo bombers?

Review of chapter "Midway to Iscandar... (nBSG / Star Blazers 2199)" from Jon
Review:
Awesome. Having just finished watching _Yamato 2199_, really all that could make this better would be having them intervene above New Caprica during the final battle of _Pegasus_.
Comments from author:
Sorry, haven't seen that episode of nBSG. Glad you liked it!

Review of chapter "Culture Clash (BSG / Culture Cycle)" from DarthTenebrus
Review:
Poor Six...what a waste. Ingenious means of bringing an end to the Cylon race, though.

Why is it always the prettier Cylon models that end up getting shafted? I mean, even in canon, what? Caprica Six takes a blast wave from one of her own nukes, Gina Six sits in front of a nuke and lets it go off? You ask me, the whole Number Six line has some sort of predilection for suicide...nuclear or otherwise.

Edit/Reply 22MAR2014: Eeeyup, I don't doubt it. Still, poor Six, she was one hot mamabot.
Comments from author:
I just made it Six because all the other chapters were from her point of view. No other reason, really. If I wanted it to be someone I didn't like, I would have made it One.

Review of chapter "Culture Clash (BSG / Culture Cycle)" from RevDorothyL
Review:
Opening with a cyber-attack and attempted invasion of privacy? Tsk-tsk. Glad to see that the '13th tribe' in this universe knows how to summarily deal with such rudeness! :)
Comments from author:
I wouldn't call the Culture the 13th tribe per se. It isn't based on Earth, and there are lots of other human-dominate civilizations in that setting.

Review of chapter "Culture Clash (BSG / Culture Cycle)" from CPTSkip
Review:
Poor Six. Poor Cylons. Happy us. Thank you for a new update to an interesting series of stories.
Comments from author:
You're welcome, but all I did was click the 'Add chapter' button and type for 5 minutes. I don't even know if the original author will keep the chapter.

Review of chapter "Hello, Good-Looking (BSG/Star Trek)" from LFW
Review:
Great use of one of the most amusing and annoying Star Trek characters.
And on the thoughts of Star Trek, it makes me question the Cyclons meeting the Borg?
Thanks

Review of chapter "Hello, Good-Looking (BSG/Star Trek)" from CrystalBlaze
Review:
You realise, of course, that Six would end up one of the ones reconfigured to be Harry's wife...
Comments from author:
Taking into account exactly what sort of people that Harry and Six are, this can't be regarded as any kind of bad thing to happen to either of them.

Review of chapter "...New Alliance of what?" from TroyGuffey
Review:
I never played the game, but it sounds like it would have been better for the Cylons and the Ur-Quan to batter each other to death.

Review of chapter "The Immigrant Problem (BSG / Lensman novels)" from mendenbar
Review:
Three million years ago, I voraciously devoured the Lensman series. I still have all the books and have read them many time since. (had to replace them once as I had read all the ink off the pages and the glue out of the spine.)

I don't know why Hollywood has to screw with the classics. They totally ruined Heinlein's Starship Troopers and the Lensman series was a mistake through and through. Sigh. The animated Starship Troopers was decent.

They really were from the golden age of Science Fiction.
Comments from author:
Your guess is as good as mine - there really seems to be little or no resemblance between the anime and the original book.
