Just a quick comment about the Cabaret revival in ch. 21: the original Emcee in that revival was Alan Cumming, who also played Nightcrawler in the X-men movies. It would've been funny if it'd been him when Buffy and Logan went on their date, and they kept thinking he looked familiar or something.
Comments from author:
Yup, well aware that Alan Cumming played the role in the revival. However, I chose not to go that route since the fic took place a while after he had left and chose the version that I myself had seen. Plus, I thought it would be a treat for Buffy to see someone she recognized in her first Broadway show. The whole concept behind the date was that it was a relaxing, stress free evening for her and throwing in Alan would have complicated it too much.
You know what i did today? went and reread this story... i still love it... you never did get around to the sequel did you? lolI miss tlaking to you too.. where the heck have ya been?

*tackles* Sorry it took so long to respond but I had some real life drama that is just now starting to settle down.
Yeah, never did get around to the sequel. The X-Men muse up and left me. I was hoping that the third movie would bring her back, but it was so bad I think it chased her further away. I'm still eyebrows deep in Stargate and slowly mixing around in others.
I've been here, just disappearing at times cause of work and life. I'm usually online quite a bit in the evenings if you ever want to chat and use the yahoo instand messenger. screenname - melianightsilver

Just out of curiosity - has the X-men muse come back yet? I'd really like to see what could happen.
Comments from author:
I'm afraid that the X-Men muse has left, probably for good. I had hoped that when the third movie came out last year that it would jump start the muse, it did the exact opposite. The movie did nothing for me, and the muse has found other things to obsess over. Sorry, but the sequel for this will probably never be written.
Thanks for the interest though.

Review of chapter "Looking For Tomorrow" from Lisa
Review:
Just stumbled across this little gem and am eager to read the piece. Love how you started it out, you really managed to capture Buffy's conflict. Well done
Very sweet! A bit of grammar, spelling and some dialogue tweaking and you've got a gem! Great Logan and Buffy interaction. The story seemed to flow nicely. But my favorite part is definitely Spike's visit to her. He's such a sweety, I wouldn't put it past Spike to lay Buffy's fears of loving Logan to rest...and to visit Logan himself and give Wolvie a piece of whatever was in his bleached head. (snickers)
