Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Harry
Review:
MORE! We need to see more! I think that Angel is going to realize what happened and get out of town ASAP! No killing Jenny or Kendra. I see the trio, along with Johnathan and Amy being ready to deal with the Mayor. But what I REALLY want to see is what happens when Red cuts loose! I see Cordy and her friends ending up as body targets for the new Willow.

I like this a lot, with one exception. Hated the kind of silly add on of Spike absorbing the slayers power *and* memories when he drained them. Buffy-verse vamps definitely do not do that, and really Spike is slippery enough, and the scoobies face more than enough badass enemies already, without adding in new powers for the vampires that never existed in canon buffy-verse.

Review:
I read your story on the recommendation of Gray wizard in the intro to a story he published on TtH. This is the first story of yours I have read and I am very impressed. Most of the stories I have found are a bit 'fluffy' but yours has an edge of reality to it. I always thought that living on a 'Hellmouth' would produce a much harder and less humane personality. Your story has that idea and gives the story the reality factor so many lack. Excellent job, Author.

I also read the reviews and a couple of them offered excellent suggestions. Training Dawn is, or in the insistence of the original, should have been, a given. While we all want to protect our loved ones, unless you lock them in a panic room, they will eventually face life's dangers. Shielding them is one thing but what Buffy, and to an extent Giles, does to Dawn and Xander will almost certainly get them killed.
using magic to control Joyce and the Harris' may be the only way with them, given the denial factor. As for Angel, well, that is something Xander will have to decide.

I have started tracking this story and I look foreword to more, a lot more. Thank you for your hard work and for sharing. Both are much appreciated.

Review:
I just reread this story, and it's just as absorbing and thought-provoking the second time. There are so many different paths the plot could follow - if Giles can cast some sort of personality-separation spell, then Buffy and Co. could *choose* what characteristics they wants to cultivate. After all, the twenty-first century would be a far different environment than a guild house in 1000 AD. They would be far more likely to return loyalty with loyalty, and value the people who work with them. After all, everyone thinks that Dawn is Buffy's sister (I wonder what she will appear as if any of the trio actually scans her?)
I hope your muse leads you back here.

This is a fascinating concept. I love the ideas - and the execution.

I have a few suggestions: control spells on Joyce and Willow and Xander's parents to keep them from interfering, for safety. Use magic to make Hank send child-support as well as cash presents; that seems perfectly fair. The kids should be able to realize that Giles and Jenny Calendar are mages. Angel's soul would be an intriguing oddity to a Necromancer. Xander might want to do the Primal transfer on some other animals. If he sacrifices a shark, will he be able to do without sleep?

The story has lots of exciting possibilities. I can't wait for more.

I originally read this along time ago. Was reminded of it in the Wanted: Assassins story by AnimeRonin so thought I would reread and review. While a spell and grammar check would be good, overall it is a great story and I hope you come back to it.

Very cool story so far. I hope that we get to see more of it one of these days. I have to say that I like the darker aspects of the Scoobies that you have brought out. It makes for a very interesting story.
