Actually...I love that song. I can't wait for Christmas each year b/c it's the only time I get to hear it. Liked the one-shot as well...I like the idea of Buffy having a whole new group of friends who aren't in any way related to the Scoobies. & I love the Firefly-verse...so I liked it all the way around. :D

It is the kind of song where the first time I hear it I bounce around singing along, which usually happens in early November. Come Christmas it has been played to death in my country and it honestly begins to inspire rage. I like to think that Buffy has the same problem, she has just heard it too often. :)

I kinda liked that song, until this Christmas when the station we had to listen to at work played it three times every hour, *shudder*. I don't blame her in the least. LOL. I loved it!

Glad you liked it. And yeah there do seem to be quite a lot a songs the stations love playing into the ground. I think what bothers me the most is that you sing along - without realising it. They are all sneaky that way. But this was an amsing way to get over that particular aspect of the holidays.

Not meant as an insult. It's not a bad song, but when it is played for the first time on November 29th and then almost continuously every day until well after Christmas, well I tend to build up a little frustration. And I admit that I still sing along. Just don't tell anyone.
