Should point out that, in at least early issues, Moon Knight had superhuman strength during the nights of the full moon, so it being a delusion looks less likely.

Excellent use of a relatively obscure character. It'd be kinda interesting to more of this some day. Lots of stories have fairly similar premises, but usually they add some kind of power up just by virtue of the mechanics employed. Moon Knight has no powers (except maybe the ability to not stay dead, with none of the usual benefits that accompany that) and would make for an interesting tale here.
