As for the attacks, the mother, monica, walked into the room and was then placed against the wall by telekinesis. Her stomach sliced, when Dean and Sam walked in and saved her and her daughter Rosie. Saam shot the Demon with the Colt, but because the body wasn't corporeal yet the bullet didn't work. the Demon disappeared, and set the nursery on fire. The husband went after Sam and Dean when he saw them helping the wife out, thinking that Dean and Sam were robbing them. But in the end, monica called him off saying they saved her and Rosie.
