This is a really good story. You have woven the two stories together really well so that the plot is almost seamless. Also, I love the way you refer to events that actually occured in the show. This is what fanfic and crossover is really all about. Presenting the setting and the characters in a slightly different way.
I hope you continue this eventually, because it is really good.

Rats! I was really enjoying this, but nothing has been updated since February. I do hope you intend to finish this, because it would be a shame if you didn't.
I love Tru/Buffy crossover stories but sadly there isn't alot of them out there. This one has to be the best I've read so far so keep on writing and updating, please?!

great update and what did Tru think was going to happen when Buffy first saw her after hearing what has been going on. can't wait to see what happens.
Comments from author:
It certainly wasn't one of Tru's smarter moves was it! But i guess she didn't expect it, in civilized non-Sunnydalian society people don't go round using their super strength to punch out their enemies, or the people that look just like their enemies. Thanks for the review!

This really is a good story! I thought you mightn't get Tru in character as you haven't watched all two series but you do her early detective work well.
However, Tru's wardrobe would have plenty of clothes that resembled Faith's. She was always pratically falling out of her tops as she ran through New York. (where the show was set although it was filmed in Vancouver, hence all the Dark Angel, Smallville and Supernatural character actors appearing in its tragically short run.)
Comments from author:
Thanks for the review. I am relieved that I am getting Tru's character at least somewhat down pat, she's definitely one of my main worries. As for Tru's wardrobe, your right. Here's me hoping the whole thing would go unnoticed lol. I actually spent a while pondering (and looking at screen shots) and I decided that there were still enough little differences between them for me to get away with it. Tru's just a little bit more girly than Faith in my opinion and probably projects a whole different aura to her dark troubled counterpart which may have emphasized a difference to the mayor. Well thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

You know this is good. But I reckon it would be more exciting, if more complicated for you to write, to have Jack on the scene trying to ensure Faith did die.
I was always a screaming Jack/Tru shipper.
7 because your chapters are too short.
Comments from author:
Heheh unfortunately I've only been able to get my hands on a handful of Tru Calling episodes that involve Jack so I don't completely understand what his character is up to and I do not have confidence in writing him or working with the chemistry of T/J. Sorry the chapters are too short I'll try and work on extending them. Thank you for your review!
