Review:
I just found this piece. Nice work. I addressed the 'Gary Mitchell' a little differently, but I also thought it needed to be covered.

Review:
Excellent story that nicely captures the characters' feelings towards the death of another character that we never saw or heard from after the two part pilot episodes. I especially liked how Cordy, Buffy and Oz backed off and were willing to go the extra mile to make sure that Willow and Xander remain undisturbed.

Review:
Lovely piece. but I thought his last name was McNally.
Comments from author:
-- I didn't know that at the time I wrote the story; it's a fairly old story. But I think you're right, that it's been noncanonically canonically established as the name, much like Lehane and Young. (Canonically in that it's official; noncanonically in that it never appeared on the show.)

But when are we going to get a first name for poor Principal Snyder, I ask?

Review:
Very good and insightful. And, the doctor in question was mentioned in one of the novels. 'Strangers from the Sky' explains why McCoy wasn't on the Enterprise during that episode. He was in the middle of his divorce and had taken a leave of absence. I recomend the book if you haven't read it. It has Kelso and Mitchell in it.

Review:
A brilliant study of something that really did get lost in the series, and using the "Gary Mitchell" issue from the Original Series was a brilliant way to open up this issue. Kudos, also, for bringing Cordelia, in all her wonderful self-absorption, to lay flowers on Jesse/Yeshua's grave. Lovely character piece.

Great fic. Not much to say that you didn't instinctively know while writing. Definitely gives me stuff to think about in writing. Thanks for this.

Review:
So many people have already said it, but I feel no shame in adding my own 'Me two' to this. Amazing, tear bringing work that does what Fanfic has had to do for so long, remind people of the forgotten aspects. Jesse... How he was never referred to ever again throughout the entire show still amazes me, it was a key moment in willow and Xander's life, and yet he was forgotten. Yet Fanfic like this brings it back up, and reminds us, of this, moment in two of the four Key scoobies lives that changed them forever.

Whoa.

I didn't get the reference when I read the title, having never really been a devoted fan of the original Star Trek, but I am incredibly glad that I read this story. Honestly it's not often that I find a piece of fanfic that manages to bring tears to my eyes...but this did. It was an amazingly well-written piece, serving to beautifully illustrate one of the biggest over-sights in the Buffyverse. I, for one, thank you for sharing it with us.

One would think that something like that would leave a desire to protect others from suffering Jessie destiny.
Poor Xander.
