Minor nit:"That night just as the sun went down, everyone who bought anything from the new store, changed into there costumes"--should be "their" costumes.

A very nice start. Now, what are you going to do, now that Cap has been killed? Or do you have a tribute story up for this series of stories involving that as well?

I just Heard They Killed Captain America, It might be a fine tribute to Cap if you incorporated this into the story. Telling the aftermath through Xander's eyes would worth telling.
