Review of chapter "scorched/home (Buffy/Supernatural)" from (Current Donor)Sulien
Review:
Just did a quick re-read of this before reading your newly posted sequel. Damn, this gets me as much on the re-read as the first time. I love the scene you paint of Buffy and Castiel in "Home" with words and wish I was an artist so I could paint the quality of light and the emotion I see in this story. Thank you again for writing and sharing it.

*runs off to read the sequel*
Comments from author:
I'm glad these drabbles are worth a reread and these are lovely compliments. I think Castiel's presence would be a steadying after her resurrection. Something she could latch onto even if she didn't understand why she wanted to latch onto or trust him.

Review:
"Giggle" I can see Teal'c saying it.
Comments from author:
Teal'c had his moments of humor. It's one of the reasons I adored him so. :)

Review of chapter "Still I Rise (Buffy/Stargate)" from bradsan
Review:
I love it when Buffy finds some happiness even if it is with some overprotecting "brothers" and sisters and don't forget the general. Buffy's new family.
Comments from author:
She does deserve a break more often than not. Thank you for reviewing!

Review of chapter "scorched/home (Buffy/Supernatural)" from (Current Donor)Sulien
Review:
I could have sworn I reviewed these. Maybe on LJ or DW, or even AO3? Who knows. Regardless, I have to tell you how amazing these were and how my breath caught and my heart lurched when Cas told Buffy that her scars weren't from her fall, but from how they had tried to hold onto her to keep her.
Comments from author:
I think you did review them when I posted to tthdrabbles. :)

Thank you! I'm rather proud of these two drabbles and the 'verse they've created. I like the idea of the angels trying and failing to hold onto Buffy. Thank you for reviewing again!

Review of chapter "James Dean He Wasn’t (Buffy/SPN)" from SlowMercury
Review:
I love Guidance Counselor Buffy stories, and this was perfect. Dean and Buffy played off against each other very well -- of COURSE Dean would hit on the hot counselor, but at this age he'd be totally unable to handle her if she reciprocated, not that she would for some sometimes-annoying punk kid.

I hope for (but don't really expect) a sequel, because this was a nice glimpse into the universe. Also, I can't help but enjoy the thought of Dean realizing his guidance counselor is more qualified to hunt the supernatural than he is. Very enjoyable. .:)
Comments from author:
Thank you! I like the banter that can happen between those two which is why I enjoy writing them playing off each other. I have the beginnings of a sequel to this story that takes place about ten years later. I could see Dean remembering the hot guidance counselor from way back when.

Thank you for reviewing!

Review of chapter "James Dean He Wasn’t (Buffy/SPN)" from (Past Donor)Charlotte
Review:
That way leads to much awesome naughtyness.
Comments from author:
It could. I hope Buffy is mature enough at this point and Dean doesn't find that Letterman's jacket...

Are any of these ficlets going to be longer stories?
Comments from author:
At the moment no. I've no plans to continue the stories presented in these drabbles/shorts.

Loved these latest ones very much! The last one made me all weepy.
Comments from author:
Thank you! I'm happy with how these last two turned out and they were meant to tug at the heart strings so I'm glad they did. :)

Review of chapter "What He Was (Dawn/Supernatural)" from (Recent Donor)Luna
Review:
nice :)

I like the science-y thought of it all, very dawn-ish :)
Comments from author:
Thank you.

Though the way I wrote the drabble had less to do with making it Dawn-like and more to do with me taking first year medial anatomy. I have a few Buffy shorts that are off the same vein. All the same, thank you for taking the time to review!

Review of chapter "To Love (April, Terminator)" from RevDorothyL
Review:
April as the origin of SkyNet is eery and sad, and just a wonderful idea! :)
Comments from author:
I like the idea of April, or Moloch the Destroyer, as the origins as SkyNet. I think both fit nicely. Glad you enjoyed this little drabble.

Review of chapter "One Flew Over (Buffy/House)" from SlowMercury
Review:
I really, really love this glimpse of House in the mental hospital, and his trenchant observations on his fellow patients (and doctors). I also loved the idea of Buffy cheating at cards. Pushing the piano was a great end to this short story, because it was an action that had emotional and narrative significance on several levels--it protected Freedom Master from bullying (which is an affirmation of Buffy's destiny to protect), proving Summers wasn't crazy (an affirmation of Buffy herself), and finally as a sort of acknowledgment that she *doesn't want* the powers she has because she would really rather be crazy.

I also particularly liked the last chapter, "Criminal Defense." The last line was chilling.
Comments from author:
You can definitely thank Rameth for the request. I could see Buffy cheating at cards, per Pike's influence, and since House didn't ignore Steve being ridiculed I couldn't imagine Buffy just sitting back. I also figure since she'd wanted to be crazy in season six, granted her life was worse then, I could still see her favoring that rather then having to imagine herself risking her life night after night for a world that utterly ignored her.

Lilah is just fun. I should write more of her.

Review of chapter "What She is Now (Willow/Dr. Who)" from yoyoente
Review:
:)
I always enjoy the crossovers that have Buffy being immortal. It makes for so many possibilities. I hope you decide to write more in this little 'verse.
Comments from author:
I did delve more into the concept, the same plot-line actually, in my 'Voodoo Child' series. It introduces Buffy to immortality and the Doctor. Glad you liked these drabbles though and thank you for reviewing.

Review of chapter "To Love (April, Terminator)" from (Current Donor)mmooch
Review:
Man, I'd almost wish Warren survived long enough to realize what he did. Well, to be honest, what I really wish is that he never was born, but this is a close second. Flaying was too good for that creep.
Comments from author:
I thought the flaying was one of the few good things Willow did in the later seasons. :)

I think Warren surviving would have been a bad thing for humanity. I mean the machines used humans to help them learn how to torture other humans and I can see Warren being completely okay with that. Thank you for taking the time to review.
