This is a very good story. I hope that you'll find your muse again and continue on with giving us a good ringside seat for the lives of Buffy Summers and Harry Phillips. And they haven't even flirted yet!
I wouldn't call this an adaption of McCord's 'A Place for My Head' as it is almost a word for word copy. Only thing you have done is gone one more chapter. Though I think I like your changes better.

I like it so far but am disappointed that it stops right where things get good. And on such a cliffhanger! Anyway, I know it's easy to get stuck after you've exhausted your initial ideas, and especially when a new book comes out and changes everything. Just forget about the DH revelations and tell us the rest of your original idea, at least until you get Harry and Buffy together :D

I'm enjoying this tale. I did find the constant tense switching confusing, but that's not unusual. Buffy's peeved,eh? Will Harry make it through unscathed?
