Review of chapter "Chapter 7" from draconis
Review:
Too bad this story is abandoned. It's well written. Although the story seems a little bit "Days of Our Lives"-ish even that can be an interesting treatment. Still, adding it to my tracking list...just in case.

It's also an intriguing and unique premise/twist and has a lot of potential for further development.

The Earth-humans-hosting-for-Tok'ras was made such a huge deal in the TV series...in fact it was probably THE single issue upon which the Earth/Tok'ra Alliance was predicated...and then after Jacob Carter they basically just dropped that storyline entirely.

In real-life that opportunity would never be discarded like that.

With the ongoing bilateral Earth/Tok'ra mistrust issues in the series, you'd think more blendings likely would have helped, been encouraged, etc. as part of the overall Homeworld Security policy.

Review:
Very glad you're continuing with this, and that younger Jack has sense enough to believe that Carter is still in a very real sense the woman he remembers from 'his' days on SG1. Good for him!

(Oh, and nice touch with Felger's widow arguing over Wormhole Extreme eps! Not to mention, I love the idea of Daniel marrying a Physics prof. and having three grandsons.)

Review:
Excellent story. I am confused, but since almost everyone in the story is too, I don't think this is a bad thing. Just keep writing so we call find out what the frak is going on. Lol!

Review of chapter "Chapter 6" from AngelaM
Review:
I'm really liking this dark tale of the future. So Sam must look much like she did when she was captured, Her and Jack jr. might still have a chance. Can't wait for more.

Review of chapter "Chapter 6" from RevDorothyL
Review:
It's so easy to detest Anise (even if Freya seemed kind of decent on the rare occasions she surfaced, as when she shocked the heck out of O'Neill by propositioning him at the worst possible moment) that it's actually kind of refreshing to read about her doing a decent thing and being a good auntie to JD.

By the way, should I guess why Sam's son would have the initials J and D? It would be kind of sweet if, even believing Jack had betrayed and abandoned her, she still included his name as well as Daniel's when she named her baby.

Review of chapter "Chapter 5" from RevDorothyL
Review:
Wow! Once again, we're left with the possibility that the Tok'ra disinformed the SGC deliberately, but at least now Jack's atypical behavior regarding Sam makes better sense. I still kinda agree with Jack, Jr., though, that Jack DID betray Sam in all of that. Glad it was somebody reasonably trustworthy like old Paul Davis who told young Jack, finally, and I'm looking forward to some kind of happy (or happier?) ending, eventually. Please?

Review of chapter "Chapter 4" from RevDorothyL
Review:
Wow! Don't leave me hanging too long, please?

I admit, this is a pretty dystopic version of SG1's alternate future, which can be hard to take at times. But I HAVE to find out why the old Jack apparently turned on Sam, and I'm trying to wrap my head around the idea of Ba'al's undeniably impressive physical attributes in a GOOD Tok'ra son of Sam Carter. Plus, I like the way you've gone back to Garshaw as the symbiote Sam might've felt some comfort with.

Review of chapter "Chapter 4" from Runewolf
Review:
Ba'al? What an elegant shocker. And not unrealistic... in the show there's definitely been instances where Ba'al is obviously attracted to Carter.

Review of chapter "Chapter 4" from Oranda
Review:
Wow, I just found this story, and you defiantly have my attention. That bit with Ba'al, how could Jack leave her? Very original by the way. I'm really bumbed out that Teal'c got owned, but I get it. Thought I really have to say that I'm surprised that Sam didn't come back for Cassandra. That woman was willing to die in a massive explosion for the girl and with Janet not there to take care of her... I just have to say that it bothered me. My Cassandra issues aside, I thought that the story was very well written and I am really excited to see the next chapter. Please keep up the excellent work.
