Truthfully speaking, I agree with Faith's assessment of Sheppard, smarmy doesn't even begin to cover him. It would be interesting if she was able to find out what made him the way he is as well as Sheppard finding out why he annoys her.
Great Story! I love the interaction between the characters. (out loud and telepathically) They were very in character.
I wonder, does this connection only work with words, or can you project images as well. I had this flash of Faith trying to shake up Sheppard big time by picturing her past sexual conquests. He'd only get to see the guy because he'd be seeing her point of view. Then her laughing at him being uncomfortable etc. Or maybe he wouldn't be all that uncomfortable... Don't ask, Don't tell wouldn't work too well in this situation.
Not like it matters anyway, since the story's already done. But still, It would have been funny as hell.

Really interesting and enjoyable, to take the most negative possible opinion of Sheppard on Faith's part and turn it slightly inside out. Love the bit about how seldom we actually realize that we're angry at someone because they simply remind us, unconsciously, of someone who's wronged us or whom we've wronged.
