I am completely in love with this idea. The only things I could think of as titles were "The English Doctor's Son", "The Englishman's Son", or "The Doctor's Son". Hopefully one of these will inspire you.

Well, I wasn't inspired by your picture, I actually just found it, but I myself started a House is Xander's Dad fic a few months ago... love the pic.

Just like with the House. Send it. I bet a bunch of people went to do Ares and Xander but totally forgetting how damn fun Autolycus and a Xander father and son relationship would be. Beyond the goofiness.

You know when I came up with the idea for this photomap, I was surprise that no one had written a story. I was hoping someone would write one, because I agree with you how interesting and fun it would be.

With the daddy issues of that show. I love the positions of both of them. Despite the eye-color (Which, duh with genetics) it makes them look very much a like, and automatically makes my mind draw similarities that are more than just physical.

I have been thinking about an idea for this photomap, but RL has me to busy to do little beside photomaps.

I never noticed the resemblance between Autolycus and Xander before, all I can say is OMG. That would make such a fun fic.

WOW! Once again you've dazzled me - I don't even have a clue about Jake Burton, but after seeing that image I find myself wishing I knew something about that show(?) so I could maybe write a crossover with that dude as Xander's dad.

On the other hand, I do know about CSI, and would love to see/write a fanfic with Xander being Gil's son - alas I got nothing, and haven't seen/heard of a fanfic with Xander being his son.

Also love Xander and Mulder, though I admit my mind turns slashy with these two, especially with the image of Spike/Mulder from the previous part dancing in my head.

Some of these pictures are just ideas I had pop into my head after reading Xander's father story. I figure I could help encourage other writers with a picture.

Now THAT'S a really intriguing idea! I've seen some Sentinel-BtVS crossovers, but none in the "Xander's real father" vein, and how cool would it be to have Jim Ellison as a dad, instead of what Xander grew up with? Nice work blending in their animal spirits, too!

I was thinking that it would be interesting as well. After all Jim was young when he join the military and he might have met Jessica on leave and a one night stand turns into Xander.

I was inspired to include the animal spirits into the photomap. It just seemed to be needed.
