I liked it. But what happened to Buffy's Mom, uhm... Bill's girlfriend-whatever her name was.

Yep, this is prettymuch awesome. I could totally see Buffy as Bill's kid. Funny thing though, after this song played through in my head, I heard that whistling tune :-).

Review:
I've never seen the Kill Bill movies (we have them; I just don't have the patience to watch them. Or most movies, actually.), but this is poignant. There's a melancholy woven into this that is bittersweet and a bit nostalgic. And your theory about the monks makes sense.

That said (in response to another reviewer), if she was four or five, she'd have memories. Maybe not clear ones, but they'd be there. I lived in a tiny village a couple hundred miles from the Arctic Circle from the age of 2 and a half to 4. I don't remember everything that happened there, but I remember bits and pieces, things no one has ever told me happened. It's more than enough for me to pick out emotions and people and situations. I'd imagine that this would work for Buffy's memory as well, especially since I lived somewhere else for six months immediately following the village and I have more concise memories from there.

Very cool. A sequel that really developed this would be even cooler.

Review:
Nah! don't buy it, Don't see Beatrix buying the farm early enough to make the story feasible. She is one tough woman to take down. For Buffy to have memories of her she would have to be with her a couple of years that would make the kid 7 or so before adoption and adoption is extermely unlikley at that point. That said I would imagine that Beatrix had enough money stashed away to make arrangements for the child should any of her old enemies catch up with her.
Comments from author:
Note that there was no grave for Beatrix. I wasn't trying to imply her death, I honestly CAN'T picture her raising BB after all the revelations that came from Bill's truth serum. She oenly admitted to ENJOYING killing, something she tried to run away from to protect BB. I think that she would eventually give BB up for adoption.

One of my most vivid childhood memories is celebrating my grandfather's 83rd birthday when I was four. Everyone is different, some people cannot recall that far back, others can remember being two or three.

Danke for reviewing, even if you didn't like it!

Review:
I liked it. I thought it was a logical extension of Kill Bill and I liked the emotions you called up for me. But what happened to Buffy's bio-mom? Will there be a sequel? Hint, hint.
Comments from author:
I was *this* close to putting the Bride at the scene, maybe just watching over Bill's grave. There may be a sequel, but that would force me to draw Nikia into the mix... I imagine that the Bride gave Buffy up and then either died or yeah, watched over Bill.

I'm glad you liked the emotions, I was going for 'poignant.'

Danke
