It's awful--what Buffy is forced to do--but wonderful in it's awfulness. I've not read the Season 8 comics, so I don't know how/if this is addressed there, but I've often thought that activating all the potentials in "Chosen" would throw the world, the Balance, out of whack. It makes sense that that balance would need to be put back in order. Even if the price IS terrible.

I find myself hoping Willow has similar duties. Natural consequences and all. :)

Hum...intriguing idea, though i can't see buffy working for balance, like ever. Too stubborn to o it, and well, screw the balance!!
