Man, Anya knows how to spread Greek tragedy on a Chinese scale. Horrifying amount of death and destruction, yet really shiny epilogue. And now we know why Xander is "The One Who Sees."
This is a wonderful story, it really puts a better rounded background into Anya and how she got to where she was, and why she adjusted to being human so well.
Thanks for a great story!

I would never have found this story if I hadn't read some of your better-known stories and decided to read all of your TtH works. It beats me how a story this well done has so few recs and reviews. I can only guess it's the 'multiple crossings' bit, which seems to scare readers away. It's well written and well designed. And the last two chapters made me cry. Bravo.

This is, hands down, the best Anya story I've ever read. I especially liked the bit about redemption being a rocky road.

It´s.... Good.. Not great, but good. I felt that Daniel Jackson´s character didn´t add anything to the overall plot.

Review of chapter "Y is for Yahweh" from RevDorothyL
Review:
Oh, this was VERY good! Normally, I try to avoid multiple crossover fics, since they can become so chaotic and self-indulgent, but every single one of the crossovers in this fic had a PURPOSE and was moving toward a goal (putting Anyanka in the right emotional place and time to become human AND to eventually become a hero, all the while unknowingly starting to work towards her own salvation . . . except for the odd unintended almost-genocide along the way).
And I loved Xander's response to God quite a bit (so much better than Bruce's)! It's REALLY nice to think of Anya ending up forgiven and enjoying peace and happiness, at last.
I'm just sorry it took me so long to discover and read this story for the first time!

I just found this story: I spent the evening reading it through from the beginning. Some of those chapters actually brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for a satisfying tale.
And there were....BUNNIES! Awesome. I always wondered where that fear came from, and you made it so believable it rocked. Very nice theorizing, and portrayal of Anya & Co. And Q! Q was perfect. Thanks for writing and sharing.
