Okay, this is an interesting development. It's been a while since I've read this story, but I'd really like to see you incorporate humanoid-Dawn in with the Slytherins (especially Blaise!).

Is Draco’s middle name canon or something you came up with? I appreciate you introducing some ambiguities into Dawn and Draco’s relationship. Other authors might be tempted to go down the they have an empathetic bond so Dawn must think Draco is unreservedly wonderful route. So her excusing him being a prat because of Lucius being an even bigger one adds some nice depths to the relationship. I like your take on the post Buffy resurrection falling apart of the Scoobies. The dream sequence does a good job of getting the reader to see a more sympathetic version of Draco. The nightmare was nice and angsty as well.

Something I made up because he needed a middle name, and at that point I think he either hadn't been given one or I maybe just didn't feel like looking it up. "Mercury" sounded cool, it's a metal AND a nifty Roman god.
Psh... Dawn and Draco's arguments will get more fun now that she can TELL him he's being ridiculous and he can scold her for being a whiner! Glad you liked my foray into the light'n fluffy Dawnie-in-Potterverse type deal. I'm working on the next segment now.

Ohh, I love it! Yay, Dawn has a cool non human form! Is she still going to play off being a magical creature/familiar, or will she declare she's human! ...sort of... So exciting, I can't wait for the next chapter. Go you!
Great chapter! Like any good S.O.B., I say "When's the next chappie?" Will there be a blow by blow description of what her x-formation actually is, in the future? Hope Dawn straightens out Draco. Lovegood Rocks. ^☺^

How fascinating that though Dawn isn't in kneazle form anymore, she doesn't look just like she used to as a human, either. Cool! :D I'm curious to see how this progresses from here.

Glad you're continuing this 'fic! And very glad Dawn can finally speak. Maybe she's now kind of an animagus. Or more properly a "human-agus" ie a Familiar that can take on a human shape. Heh. And Spike hasn't even gotten into the room yet. .... I liked the part about HP losing his temper. Blaise is going to be in major trouble over this...

Is it just me, or is Dawn now a strange combo of kneazle and human, with the runes from her spell to change in the first place now permanent on her skin? That's what I am picturing in my mind anyway. So glad to see more of this one. It is really a fun story.
