I think you should have gotten Xander to say to Buffy what he said to Riley. It was the best line in the fic.

"Oh no. I'm sure she feels bad and is really sorry. Just like I'm sure she was honestly sorry for when she dry humped me on the dance floor for the sole reason to make Angel jealous. I'm sure she was sorry for running away without ever letting us know if she was dead or alive. I'm sure she was sorry for saying we would just get in the way when dealing with Adam right before she got her ass kicked and only beat him by performing the joining spell with us. And I'm sure she was sorry for saying Spike was the only one watching her back the day after I got my eye gouged out following her plan. I'm sure she's sorry for each and every instance. I just don't think that'll ever stop her from acting the same damn way, she's always acted. I don't trust her to change that now matter how much she says she will."

Would have made for a much more realistic conversation between Xander and Buffy.

I have really enjoyed this series of stories. I am not sure where then next one will take us but it will be worth it. I almost look forward to having Andrew stuck in CHicago for awhile and Buffy dating the Mountie was great.

The series is over? Noooooooo! Man, I loved this series. Either start another one or do a continuation or something. Please. Pretty please with a cherry on top? Seriously thought, it was really, really fun while doing a lot of really cool character insight and development and stuff.

Home once more. This was nice. I liked Riley punking Xander and Buffy having her epiphany the best, though. :)

Good story as usual in this series, I liked Buffy and Frasier together, it's not a pairing I would have expected. Buffy with a disturbingly clean-cut individual is just weird. I loved some of the call-backs to earlier stories like the bit with Herbie.

Funniest line: “Hell, considering what he did, hanging's too good for him. Can you believe the nerve? That goat has been traumatized for life,”

Keep it up, looking forward to the next part.

Okay, this is a well written fic, and it's got some good points. It also has numerous bad points, ones that are very common of Xander fans, and I'd really love to have them addressed.

Okay, Buffy's big crime here seems to be she didn't live up to Xander's expectations. Why does she have to? Her job is to save the world, not be Xander's hero.

Riley pointed out that group consensus was the way they used to do things. It worked for years. So why the change?

Buffy has worked two jobs that were beneath her to support herself. Does Xander really think firing her is going to do anything?

There are so many good things about
this chapter I wouldn't know where
to begin. I will say this, it's a damn
fine ending.

I love this series - I'm sorry to see it coming to an end.
Thanks for posting your brother's stories here. I love the overall plot arc & all the dialog has been great. It's good to see the Scoobies acting like the Scoobies again.
