You know, after having read this and Klimmatt's 'Xander as various x- men' Cyclops chapter, I'm beginning to think he was such a loser in the school exactly because of that effect; everyone thought him to be a loser, so he was, and later, with those knowing him either dying out or simply forgetting about him, he managed to get his life straight.

You should make more chapters for this story! It's about as good a concept as Make A Wish by Rorschach's Blot (fanfiction.net)! This can be a tie in to one of the stories in the omake collection. Xander becomes the new War, Horseman of the Apocalypse, through the power of belief! It's the same way Mister Black, aka Harry Potter, became the new Death, also a Horseman of the Apocalypse in Make a Wish!

Given the nature of the hellmouth, i suspect that it'd pervert the effect somehow if that really had happened in canon, but - DAMN, that was funny. ;)

If Joss were writing that story, yeah, there's no question that Xander would have gotten boned quite badly, since he seems to have a nihilistic viewpoint regarding what happens to people who try to improve things for their fellow human beings.
