Oh G-man rocks.
Yes he can be annoying and pompous and G-man-ish in the badway.
But there is this the good way. Simoultaneously threatening and understanding :-D
I've never seen a better Giles portrayl. Especially in a ficlet. Terrific.

Really interesting! Since Kavanagh is the one character on SGA that I have never found even remotely sympathetic, but only unforgivably irritating and objectionable, it's intriguing to be shown this other side to him, to find out what pushes him so strongly to be where he obviously doesn't want to be and doesn't have the slightest respect or compassion for the people he's working under or with.
Many props to Giles and Willow for trying to work with him, even when he's being his own (and everyone else's) worst enemy.
