great update. Veronica was right about one thing. Joyce was six, seven times better the mother that Lianne was, so Buffy needs to buck up, yes grieve, and get back to getting on with her life.

I'm both ridiculously excited about all of the fic about to be dumped on me yet sad that this series is about to end. The sad is almost outweighing the excitement because your fics are pretty much the only new VMars femslash available on the entire interweb. I was less bothered than a lot of people by the end of the show because I had hoped there would be a healthy amount of fic available after the cancellation, so the lack of femslash and the end of your series seems like the real cancellation of the series.

I would beg and plead for you to write something unrelated to this series featuring Veronica (maybe I'd even be begging for a Veronica/Meg fic if I'd ever seen anything of yours that wasn't BtVS), but considering you've probably written (by total length) 25-50% of all the VMars femslash on the net as it is, asking for anything more would be unreasonable. Plus I would feel like a complete hypocrite because I can't write to save my life.

So, wishful thinking about some novel-length VMeg epic aside, this fic remains at the top of my list of all time favorites. I'll be sad to see it end, but thrilled to read the last big chunk of it and see a final conclusion.

No one's sadder than me, BR. I'll be honest and say that V/Meg never appealed to me. Saw the possibility, but was never interested.

Yay update! The only complaints I can possibly have about your VBuffy series are that there isn't a whole lot more of it and after prolonged exposure I find it more difficult to ship Buffy and Veronica with other people. How well the relationship works in your fics is amazing and I really want to see how the rest of Buffy season 5 plays out in your fic as well as what Veronica does when she catches up with Buffy.

Next update can't come fast enough.
