Review of chapter "Heal Thyself" from Ponder
It appears you might have misunderstood what I wrote. I never suggested anything about using a semicolon in place of a hyphen. I was saying the proper character is a longer dash than a hyphen: it's called an M-dash, and either typed like this: — or with the html entity & mdash;
Only use the short hyphen when connecting hyphented words, like 'ten-year-old", etc. If you're using it as punctuation — like in this example — use a double hyphen if you can't produce an M-dash, but an M-dash is better.
