Very plausible story... I enjoyed... now off to see what else you've written because this was way too short. However, it does feel finished. I'd have loved to see you come back to them say... after season seven/book seven (if Severus somehow didn't die...) and look at how their lives turned out.

Can I say once again how much I love how you've interwoven both of their back stories? Good - 'cause I'm saying (and again even)! It's such a pivotal moment for both, and it's blended so well. And you capture the petulance and wanting to be 'cool' of boys on the cusp of becoming men so well.

I wasn't gonna read this, then I saw that YOU wrote it and said, 'What the hell? May as well...' I REALLY liked this, it seemed well-in-character, and YOU NEED TO DO A SEQUEL!
