I got the really bad feeling that Johnathon was Hojo. I don't like this bad feeling. I wouldn't care as much if Rude and Reno were there... Please? I really like those two. I'd ask for Vinny too, but that would just hurt Xander's head more.

Well, a lot of people have guessed who Sephiroth was (haha, just check the other reviews), but the real question is what is he up to? As for Hojo, yuppers, I pretty much stated it was Jonathan. Thanks for the review.

Dude, okay. It's a slow start off, but it shows promise. I say keep it going, it could turn out to be a real good story if u watch out for the small pitfalls.

Thanks, and hopefully I can avoid those pitfalls (...whatever they may be :P). As for Cloud, well, there have been Sephiroth/Xander and Vincent/Xander fics, so why not a Xander as Cloud story? Also... that was the challenge I responded to, and he was the main hero of the game after all. After we get over some of Cloud's more debilitating psychological issues I'm hoping to show some of the poor guy's finer attributes. For instance, he's a complete demon with the buster sword and stubborn as all get out (just like Xander). I just hope I can deliver.

A bit weird but interesting. So who was it that dressed as Sephiroth? Hope Xander manages to get his head sorted out soon. Just what are those geeks up to?

Though if one of them is Hojo then they're going to die , an extreamely painfull death when Xander finds them.

Ohoho, we'll see. Hojo was by no means a decent man, but it would depend on how much of him remained and how forgiving Xander's feeling to see the outcome of that debacle.

I haven't read any really good fanfics that had someone as Sephiroth. That said, this story looks to break that trend. The fact that Xander is not Sephiroth but Cloud is a definite twist in the right direction. With the allusions towards Tucker being the "Big Bad", it gets even more original. With the start you have here I can see this being a good original story. Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing where you take it.

Pretty cool! It'd be great if Buffy became Tifa or Yuffie, and Willow became Aeris (without the dying of course). Giles would be interesting as Barret, and I think Valentine for Angel. Cordy, would of course, become one of the other female characters.

It's not going to end up quite like that, but there'll surely be parallels abound. I always thought Giles' malcontent Ripper side would mesh better with Cid anyway.

Yes continue this is a great germ for a potentially great tale. Even though I only played the first three final fantasy games, my kids have played them all, and I know the mythology. This should be a Fantastic (pun intanded) ride!

Pretty damn interesting....now, it would be good, to start showing random places around the globe, what are starting to show the changes of the planet...hmm...like new monsters and animals....Lifestream surfacing.....growing of odd crystals on some sites influenced for elemental, status, holy or dark energies.....heh...it would be a riot, if Colorado mountain starts to grow Time/Space related Materia in the grounds....


In other parts....some chickens, mutating, growing and evolving into BIG, running and coloured biped birds.....

Oh, it'll all start developing in it's own time, just don't expect Rome to be developed in a day. I think at least a year (or a season of BtVS) should pass before anything major happens, just to be semi-fantasy-realistic, ya know?

I'm actually pretty leery of putting too many crossovers in one basket. Although it'd be funny just to show a quick snippet of showing what's going on with the SGC, it would also acknowledge its existence, which in itself could be kind of problematic.

Anyway, thanks for the challenge! It just wouldn't stop bugging me until something was written.
