I promise, this was *not* abandoned. I was just able to rescue my files from the dead computer, and should be able to get something posted-- no guarantees on when, I work full time, go to school full time, have a twelve year old and just found out I'm having another baby!

Very well written. You've really captured NCIS's voice. Given Gibbs's longer history with Ducky and Abby, would they have worked some of these "special" cases with him before? I can't wait to read more.
