Unfortunately, when I wrote each story in this series, I intended for them to be more-or-less one shots. My muse is on sick leave...she has unenthusiasticismitis.

I KNOW that you are only doing these as a series of one-shots.....
But could you PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE make this one into its own full story?
It would be SOO good to get all the reactions of people involved on both sides .
Plus I could easily see her , or even a group effort from the girls , going back to sunnydale to snatch Xander.
Or maybe sending him an invite to visit gotham and a plane ticket.
Because I could see Bats going nuts 1st over him showing up but then going nuts about training and approving of him once he sees what Xander really is about underneath the goofball and self-condescending act to what hre is and his relentless drive to protect 'his girls'.
Because Xanders' real attitudes towards evil and his drive when in protect mode would impress the shit out of him.

I'm sorry, is there actually story here? I just see a lot of dialogue, in what's a textbook example of Talking Head Syndrome. Maybe the actual story bits didn't get posted? O_o

Oh wait! There's about ten words total that are actions and not dialogue. My bad. ^_^

Thanks for your criticism. I have to agree with you about the Talking Head Syndrome, and I will be changing this story soon. My first story, Boy Meets Girl, will remain in that manner of writing, mostly because I wrote it so long ago and I have fond memories of it.

Okay, you really need to follow up on this one. I've always liked the Xander/Cassandra pairing, because it has a lot of potential for an amusing relationship balanced by both dark and humorous moments.

I can just imagine them meeting for a date at some coffee house (since Cassandra does have a weakness for mochas...or at least she did early on in her series before they cancelled it and made her go psycho, which they did explain, but she's still a little "damaged").

Cool, but I think Xander might be in a bit of trouble when he doesn't ring Cassandra! :)
