Review of chapter "The Hunt Begins" from Vorchan
Review:
Um, quality-wise, I like this, I like this one lot, Sir (English default gender setting)!
It's kind of funny, gentle, weird, and nice name for Kennedy in it- that being her last name; you never know if it's her last name, first name, or if both names are the same... she never says in the series.
Funny take on the religious backgrounds of these two; I kind-of like that too!
I am officially interested in your series that this story is a part of too, just don't really have that much time to invest in reading it these days (what with school work and all that stuff to do, and i rather like doing those things).
I also have to say "Thanks" to you, Thanks for giving me Kennedy as a bit of a sister (regarding religious doctrines- I share in the belief system she was given in your story), that bond I am not at all ever going to be ungrateful for; and am unbelievably grateful for- you've made it far easier for me to love her and thereby other people like her properly, and that will not go unrewarded., I can guarantee that to you!
Such a bond cannot ever be severed, either.
You did a spectacular piece of work with this, and I love it, Sir! (No idea of your real identity or gender)
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, and so on...
Sincerely your fan,
Vorchan.

Review of chapter "Blood, Purgatory, Sex, Magick" from Vorchan
Review:
Well, Kennedy is sure right on the matter of Purgatory, interesting involvement in the matter of religion- I like that fact!
You know, I sort-of love these women, each in a different way, but am sort-of mad at each of them in a different sort-of way: Kennedy in particular would know, or should know, that she's misbehaving to be in a romantic (or worse)- sexual relationship with another girl, it's exactly like two people who are NOT available to one-another, but I do suppose that's the 'road trajectory' of her temptations- due to her reference to Catholic Doctrine.
As for Tara, it's Probable that she's originally a fundamentalist in upbringing, but she's basically a Dame- a female knight, due to her sense of personal honor and justice... for reference: look at the episode "Older and Far Away", she fits the archetype to a T.
Willow is basically a Jewish Princess in so many ways.
The paragraph about Kennedy is NOT to say that she's necessarily condemned to Perdition- she would have as much odds of winding up Anywhere in the next life as Anybody else- especially if she tries to be good- her odds of getting to Heaven are then Very High.
GREAT STORY AND CHAPTER!

Whoa! Talk about a shock! Faith wants to take Willow's last name? Is she doing this to honor her, or just to make sure that she doesn't get taken in by the police?

So, Kennedy just got to meet Oz. Looks like Kennedy is about to get some more lessons on who is a Scooby and who is a ally.

I don't blame Tara from going out on a second date with Kennedy. After all that has happened, these two need some time away from everyone to decompress and deal with what has happened.

Well, Amy Madison has been dealt with. She is tied up and unable to move. Now, what is needed, is some way to make sure that whoever is coming into the Hotel, is checked out to make SURE that they are who they say that they are.

*Growls* Amy Madison! That little, no good, #*($)*$))$)$*((*$! She caused Willow all so many problems in the past. Normally, I am not the type of person who wants to cause harm, but with Madison, I WILL make a exception! OFF WITH HER HEAD!!!!

Review of chapter "Dreams of Willow" from Harry
Review:
A Slayer dream, with WILLOW in it! Normally I would be hitting the alarm button and fast, but the fact that Willow was talking and not threatening, eased that. But getting praise from Giles IS something to appreciate! Giles is going to be the head of at least one of the spots where Slayers are going to be at. But, Kennedy earned respect from Giles based on the information she got from the Lawyers and the fact that she made sure that it got to him, and didn't take it to him AFTER she had gotten it! As for Faith, I can see her being a roving slayer, helping out where needed. And as for the training, and the help from PD, Kate Lockley WILL be of serious help!

Review of chapter "My Dinner with Kennedy" from Harry
Review:
This dinner date with Kennedy was very interesting. Seeing the interest in Beverly Crusher versus 7 of 9, was interesting to say the least. But what really impressed me was the fact that she deferred to Tara when it came to taking out the vampire. It shows that respect and interest that Kennedy has for Tara.

Review of chapter "Taking Care of Business" from Harry
Review:
I LIKE this version of Kennedy! She may have MONEY, but she is willing to use it to help the council out somewhat, and is willing to use her family connections to help in finding a new place in Warren. Now, lets see if this so called date with Tara leads to anything else.

Sounds like Tara agrees with Kennedy's plan on how to pursue Tara. Now, we shall see how it plays out for both of them.

Well, Kennedy has made it clear to Tara: She's going to pursue Tara, but she is also going to do her part as a Slayer. Should be interesting to see how it works out.

Lots of changes after the fall of Sunnydale. B and Dawn Patrol going on a vacation, Giles working on rebuilding the Council, and Kennedy wanting to pursue Tara, with Tara telling her that if she DOES want to pursue her, its her choice. Time to see how things work out for them.

.
Good stories. Very interesting twist to have Tara be the survivor. Can't recall another story where author has posited that outcome. And growing Kennedy into something less in-your-face and screechy on the brain is also a plus. I like where the story is going...although I would have also had Tara sentence Warren to "community service" of helping abused people for the rest of his life in some way in addition to just feeling guilty about his former actions. Then he could see more of the real damage done to others besides just from his personal experiences (e.g. Katrina), maybe feel even more guilty, and actually do positive things to help others. Otherwise, he's just sitting around brooding like Angel...until Angel finally got off his ass and started helping Buffy and others.

However, whether liberal or conservative writer, I do find it quite unseemly and it screams propaganda when an author needlessly bashes political and/or media entities based on an ideological viewpoint (e.g. the swipe at Fox News)...especially when it does nothing to contribute to or advance the story itself. Cheap and gratuitous shots just aren't that funny, and it needlessly upsets readers on one "side" or the other. There are other ways to get such beliefs across.

ALL media and reporters are biased in their reporting. ALL politicians are biased. And most of them (or their editors/spokespersons/press secretary/etc) lie outright, skew information, or lie by omission (editing) to suit their worldview or promote their agenda (propaganda). An author doesn't do him/herself or the readers any favors by engaging in the same, especially if one goes for the "easy" cheap shot. As one example where authors have "blamed" a single ideology, I think it equally likely these days that something like the Initiative (were it real) would exist in the U.S. regardless whether a liberal OR conservative administration is in charge. If one were to claim that ONLY conservatives would come up with something so horrendous, or that ONLY liberals would come up with such, would be naive in extremis. In the same category, basically declaring Fox isn't "fair and balanced", with the obvious deduction that therefore MSNBC (or any other liberal network) IS fair and balanced...is also naive.

Still just as fun to come back and reread, and still would like to see more someday.
I hope you're doing well, as you've become one of my favorite authors here. Thanks for writing!
