The cliff-hanger was intriguing in its implications: Harry had to kill himself to send his mind back; Remus was dead in Harry's other timeline, and now has partial memories from the other in this one. And now, it looks like Sirius (who was likewise dead in the other timeline may gained some alternate-future insight, as well. And if those two, then why not Snape, Tonks, and Voldemort, among others?

It was really exciting to see this fabulous fic updated again after such a while. I went and reread the earlier chapters, which reminded me again how much I enjoyed this fic. The writing is good, the characterisations feel real and interesting and the plot seems to be twisting and turning in unexpected directions which really make this one stand out among other 'rewind' stories. I really like the slow development and Harry's caution (but that he has also over-reached himself to some degree) and I look forward to seeing what happens in the next chapter.

It's been so long I had to re-read the story, not that it was any real hardship to do so! I was just telling my friends about several of the different rewind stories, this one included! I can't wait to see where you go with this one compared to some of the others (which were mostly written before book 7 came out, so have Snape as a badguy still)
