It was a very.... involved story. Heavy. Which isn't a bad thing at all, but it was not as easy a read as most fanfic is. But your character voice were very old and very real. Kinda beautiful. And your descriptive passages were all basically emotional sucker punches (which is a good thing). Worth reading, if slow reading. (savoring and all that)

Hello,
This is Polgara. All of 'sita's (krisztina) reviews go to my inbox since her death in May.
She would have been simply over the moon that you reviewed not one, but two of her stories in one day. While thanking you endlessly for your words she would be simultaneously proclaiming her limited talent and that she would one day truly earn her reviews. Her friends never understood why she didn't see how truly talented she was.
Thank you for taking the time to read what she would have called her 'little story' and leaving a review.
Ok, so I know it sounds silly but the whole time I read this I totally imagined it all as a film noir. Buffy starring as the femme fatale of course. Just the way you wrote how they reacted to each other brought up memories of Casablanca lol. I loved it.

I LOVE this! I was about to read your new Dresden story when I read your reference to your other stories in your A/N and decided to check them out first. I don't know how I missed this before, but it's fantastic. I love the way you write the characters and definitely am inspired by your descriptions. Great job! :)

I found this story entirely by accident, hipping and hopping across stories and clicking on author recommendations...I could in no way backtrack the trail that led me to this story, looking for fic to read on my lunch hour today. But I am so VERY damned happy I found it. This was fabulous! Breathtaking. Your writing is very enveloping of the senses. So very little story written in so many words that it feels like you know so much more than was actually told. It completely wrapped up my emotions and carted them away for the duration. Totally captivating.
Thank you.
Now, of course, I have to go and read the rest of your stories and pout because you've not updated in months and worry that you've stopped and won't come back.

Okay. *Wow.* I've read a lot of fics--ones that have made me laugh, cry, and want to throw things. But this... the sheer *emotion* in this is... breathtaking. Absolutely gorgeous; a wonderful read.

That was just...wow...I am completely and utterly amazed at how much emotion and passion was conveyed in that piece. I could literally feel all the emotions and thoughts the two felt. It was so romantic that I got goosebumps. It was truly a work of art. One of the best fanfictions I've read. I hope that you continue writing more to this story in some fashion. Their love is an epic love and that would be a nice thing to continue. :) Keep up the amazing work and have a lovely day.
Smile, Macala A.

Review of chapter "The Getaway Girl" from Catlimere
Review:
First off, I'm so, so, so very sorry it's taken me so long to review this story. Things have been crazy, and thankfully seemed to have settled again, and I'm trying hard to catch up on everything else I've let slide. One of those things being telling you how marvelous I think your writing is. Your writing is like poetry, the imagery, the emotion...beautiful and haunting. I start reading and soon am swept away into the world you've created. I love the idea of Buffy accidentally wandering into his talk regarding the true origins of the pyramids and having that instant connection. The attraction, which I totally get as Daniel's quite breathtaking, and the understanding. Of any random stranger happening upon Daniel's theories, Buffy would be one of the few to not dismiss him out of hand. To truly understand what it's like to be screaming fire in a burning building only to be thought of as insane. Again loved that spark of instant recognition and attraction, and the attempt to get to know each other better...although the timing sucked like a tornado. Daniel standing her up as he was pulled into the SG world. I loved their meeting up again, so much time has passed, the instant heat still here, both wondering what the other is thinking, feeling. Both having their doubts that the other was, or is, still feeling that lingering heat. And the sexual tension building, slowly boiling to the surface...loved Daniel not backing down. I am hopeful you'll continue to add more to the story, although it does stand beautifully on it's own. I wouldn't mind another story after Buffy gets to the SGC. Again, beautiful use of the language and wonderful imagery.
