Haunting is definitely the word I would use to describe this ficlet. It's beautiful and of all of your wonderful stories, the one that cries out most for a sequel. I hope you're inclined to write one some day, even just having Radek run into Dawn when he's on Earth, because I would dearly love to read it.

Um... wow, this is interesting. The comparison of Dawn and Atlantis.. um, just wow. It's not exactly what I expected when I read the summary, but...wow. Sorry, I keep repeating myself but I really don't know what else to see. This is certainly different in terms of a Dawn-centered fanfic, and I liked it. Keep up with the unconventional-ness.

So... if Dawn is the ghost in the machine (and she isn't dead), then what is she the key to? Will she ever visit Atlantis and... uh... unlock something?

This is really charming and surprising -- not that I'm surprised to discover Zelenka can be charming as the focus of a story (personally, I think he's sort of adorable), but surprising in the sense that Dawn is present to him in the city in only a spiritual and poetic sense, and (okay, maybe I SHOULDN'T be surprised at this) that he has the artistic temperament to accept senses he can't scientifically measure and not worry about meaningless distinctions when it comes to the entity that is Atlantis.

Interesting use of a secondary character. So did she seem familure because of some sort of connection to the Ancients?

This was a really interesting story, I like the look into Zelenka's mind.
