ooh, I liked that. Not that I'd watch the last Matrix or anything (the second one ruined it for me, even if the Twins were pretty cool). Great premise, and a bored Dawn suddenly sprung is always good.
But tell me; when she was captured, it was Tuesday, right?
ed: lol, thanks, glad to make life a little better!

I'm glad you liked it. For me, the Twins made the second movie bearable. And your comment about it being Tuesday has been lauded by myself and others as the height of witty one-liners. That right there made my day.
Awesome! And really obvious when you think about it, a key maker needs to have made a key:) It also works really well with Buffy as the first 'one', and the whole apocalypse/reboot parallel.
Are you considering writing a sequel? Because I would love to read about Neo and company meeting Dawn, she'll confuse the hell out of them!
Comments from author:
You know, the first thing I thought bout when watching that part of the movie was, "hey, keymaker. Makes keys. Dawn's a key. Ooooh, plot bunny!" Yes, my mind works in strange associative patterns, but whatever. Yes, I am considering a sequel, but I'm not sure what it'd be. We'll see. I haven't watched the 3rd matrix recently, so I may have to wait until then to get ideas...

Nice, new, I'd almost call it "foamy". Hoping against hope more story will show up :)
Comments from author:
"foamy"??? That's a .... new adjective. I'd prefer "shiny", even if it does have Firefly connotations. But yes, I do think this is a rather original story idea.

Very interesting. I'll be following this fic with a close eye. I haven't seen anything even remotely like this before, and it's fascinating. I look forward to more.

Thanks! I tried to go way out into left field when writing this. Of course, it ended up sounding like something out of one of my cyberpunk novels... which is good, because I love those books dearly. If you like this, I suggest you read "Neuromancer", by William Gibson, and "Snow Crash", by Neal Stephenson.

Very cool. I always thought that the Twins were pretty neat. Glad to see them again. I hope that you decide to do more with this story, it seems like and interesting idea. Good luck to you.
Comments from author:
Oranda, thanks for the review. Yes, I heart the Twins and I was saddened to see them lose against Neo. I'll try to continue this storyline, but I make no promises.
I really liked it. Original idea, good execution. Great charcterization. I would love to see more in the Matrix/Slayer world.

Thanks, TimeShifter. I tried to create a story that was really original. Soo many people stick to the same plotlines; I wanted something a little different. This is my first time writing Dawn as well; I'm glad you think I did well.
