This is cool... and I wouldn't have realized you had this part of the story without of the reivewers suggesting that you did. Perhaps you could further AU this by having Xander do some research and making finding Connor in New York City, the goal of his summer road trip?

sounds like Xander is a pre immortal and living on the Hellmouth it won't take long to become an immortal cause violent deaths are prevalent there

Interesting... would love to see more. Is Xander Immortal? It sounds like he's not yet, but has the potential to be. (The whole 'don't loose your head', but also I don't think immortals get concussions.) What Angel did in this ep always pissed me off. Faith I can forgive, evil and all... but Angel is *supposed* to be a good guy. I will admit to a bias, as I never liked Angel; Spike was Spike with soul or with out, but Angel was different from Angelus? Don't think so. Anyway - good fic. Would love to see more.

Well, initially, it was just an idea that popped in my head. A kind of, what would have happened - you know, they left Xander out in the middle of the street at night, in Sunnydale. Anythink could have happened to him. More? Not a bad idea. Let me think on it. ::grin::
