Review of chapter "She's My What?!" from Scrappychic
OMG I loved this fic! I don't usually read X-Men X-Overs, not being a follower of the comic. My main exposure to X-Men was the cartoon back in the 90s and the Movies, so a lot of the characters not covered in those two genres escape me completely. But I decided to check this one out and boy am I glad I did.

I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to see a sequel to this. It really lends itself to one in my opinion.

Here are a few of the possibilities that I see offhand. Possibly Scott takes over guardianship of Dawn after Buffy dies. He could come back for another visit when Joyce Dies. Maybe Dawn and Buffy go to visit him after the collapse of Sunnydale to let him know they're fine. I can also see Dawn getting tired of Buffy canoodling with the Immortal and going to stay with him for a while, since he is their only other family and all. There are probably tons more that would work well, but those are just the first few that popped into my head when I read the story. I hope they added a few ideas brewing so we can possibly see a sequel sometime soon. :)

Great job!

Actually I DO have a sequel started, but life kicked me in the head for a while so never finished it. You'll be gld to know some of your ideas are already in there :)

Thank you for this enthusiastic review because it really revved me up to get back to work on the story!

Review of chapter "She's My What?!" from DeeRose
SO much better. That story makes sense in allot of ways that it didn't the first time around. Like I said before, I'm all for the idea that Dawn is really Buffy's kid not her sister, and X-Men/Buffy stories are fun when done well. You added allot of the elements I was hoping to see. Still not totally sure how the X-Men would have figured out about the Monk spell. I'm not familiar with the comics, do they cover majic? I like that they are left in the dark about Glory, and they think she's just an 'average girl, living in an average town'.

Well done.

Yayyy. Thank you again for your review, it whacked me in the side of the head and made me start again :P

Yep in the X-Men comics they cover magic, not heavily they save heavy magic for other Marvel Comics, but it is there in story arcs and certain characters like the X-Men's Colossus' sister Magik or Magneto's daughter Scarlet Witch. I didn't touch on how they figured it out because at the time I wasn't planning on writing more than a short single shot fic so it wasn't important to the story how they did it, just that they did. Perhaps I'll revisit that now that I am planning a second longer follow up story. And hehehe yes I thought leaving them in the dark about Glory was nice and evil of me :P

Thank you again for all your help on this and other story(s) you've been wonderful!

Review of chapter "She's My What?!" from Melli
I absolutely love this story! I am not an avid X-men fan, though I do read a BtVS/X-Men crossover on the occasion, but you seriously had me sitting here jonesing for a sequel. Consider this a major accomplishment :-p. I really, really would love to see something where Dawn found out that Scott was her father, and she became a big part of his world. Maybe exploring the key-powers some more, like her being able to randomly open portals, or something like that? (wow, talk about a way of sneaking out that would annoy the heck out of your father... he couldn't even nail her bedroom window shut like most dads do :D) Oops. sorry. babbling. I do that.

I shall stop with the verbally effusiveness for now, but please keep up the great work!

You have absolutely made my day Melli! *tight hugs*

You are so right about her being able to sneak out and Scott not being able to nail shut her door, that's hilarious!! Another reader mentioned wanting to see a sequel to this also, so I will have to give it some deep thought now :)

Thank you for your review! I am so glad you liked it!

Review of chapter "She's My What?!" from Coldhands
I'm so glad you put this up again, and it is better than before. This was EXACTLY what I was looking for when I requested that FFA. There just aren't many (or really any) fics making Dawn Scott and Buffy's child, even though it would make a lot of sense (The Slayer dies, Glory is still around, now she has to fight the guy who shoots LASERS out of his EYES).

Loved it!

Thank you!

I'm glad you liked it, especially since you requested the pairing!

I'm also glad DeeRose panned the first story. I know a lot of people would have read what she wrote, cursed her mentally and ignored her, but I liked what she said because she said it in a nice way and it gave me a 'what was I thinking when I wrote that' moment forcing me to want to redo it better.

Review of chapter "She's My What?!" from LurkerOOl
Good story. I don't know if I've seen a story where Dawn maybe goes to the x-men while Buffy is dead. That would make an interesting sequel to this. It'd also be quite a feat figuring out exactly what the Key's powers and a mutation would cook up.
Comments from author:
Thank you!

That would be a good sequel wouldn't it? LOL Maybe I'll give it a try once I've thoroughly thought through the idea ;p
