I went back and re read this, and still had problems with you gender changing poor Blaise from female to male in about 3 chapters or so; also the "facts' read by Malfoy and Ron - which were merely suppositions and popular beliefs, as neither had actual evidence presented to support them. Bethany bops between being condescending and educational, granted it would be hard not to be as she isn't that much older than her students yet has two Masteries, but still...
Going back now to finish from Chapter 6 on...

This is an amazing read; it drew me right in. I'm not entirely sure how I've missed reading this one but I look forward to seeing future chapters. The Harry Potter canon characters are spot on in personality and behavior and your original characters are quite likable and show a good grasp of character creation in your writing.

Review of chapter "The Lewis Family" from CrystalBlaze
Review:
I have to say, this is a spendid piece of work.
I rather suspect that Albus wanted to bond with and teach Harry once he learned a Horcrux was killing him.
Albus.. doesn't take well to losing those he regards as family.
Snape has been handled rather well, in addition. (between the Pensieve memories which I highly suspect were there just in case Harry needed to learn and get a wake-up call from their mututally frustrating occlumency lessons and the events dealing with his demise in Book Seven, I rather suspect Snape hardened his heart in advance in case he had to kill Harry and was such a prick so Harry could and would kill HIM if it came down to that, as so nearly was the case!)

Review of chapter "The First Day, Part 1" from Luna

OCs can be tricky but since I've written a lengthy LOTR-Buffy cross featuring one I always try to look for decent ones. So far I'm entertained and will hopefully get a chance to read some more :)

Original characters can be a problem. Most writers seem to have a problem balancing them with the established characters and not inserting themselves in the story.
Ms. Lewis would at first glance appear to be a victim. However, the writing is extremely entertaining, and I going to wait and see what comes next.

This is a wonderful story so far. I really enjoyed the dragon pox illness that was extremely funny to read. I hope that Professor Snape and Professor Lewis start acting like normal "oh I like this person" people soon although the arguments are very very fun to read. Again I love this wonderful story and I am looking forward to reading more hopefully soon.
