Very impressive take on Halloween from a different angle. This could easily be canon or AU

I know. I find myself going over ideas in my head for either direction. I always thought Johnathan was criminally underused and underrated on the show. But his character was a bit redundant with Xander around. Making him into a villain was just a great idea on the writers part. His story arc was, I think, the greatest of the tertiary characters. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Very cool, very different Halloween story. Gonna be a sequel? Hope so... it'd be interesting to see a follow-up and a focus on the characters of this story.

*blink* interesting, and scary. A "geek" with Bruce Wayne's training. I think things will get slightly disturbing for Buffy and gang in the near future

I doubt it. Johnathan's a good kid. He's just a big sheep, always following others around. If this story does go AU, and he interacts with the Scoobies, then expect him to follow Buffy's lead. Of course, if I do make this more involved, then maybe his Batmanness will chafe at the mere mention of listening to a super-powered individual.
Almost AU, almost a fit. The episode where he was a very Bruce Wayne like character -- doing a spell -- but I guess we'd need to see why Jonathan never did pick up Tai-Chi or get a center from Bruce's experiences. A cool "what if" in the Buffy-verse.

You're right. We do need to see why Johnny-boy never used his borrowed skills.
