Well, I know it has been years since this was written... but you did pose the question...

Why not Xander? after-all he was 'Soldier Boy' for Halloween... and can you imagine Cordy's reaction to Xan-Man having her at his beck and call?

Edit: That would be part of what would make it interesting, seeing Xander attempting to rise above his base instincts and occasionally failing. Having Buffy, Willow and Giles grasp the implications and trying to help Xander keep things above board. How might some of the later things that happen play out if Xander could make wishes... what sort of consequences might those wishes have? Remember, with all the snarking and professions of deep, undying hatred, Xander really does care about Cordy, even before they fell into lust. He wouldn't intentionally hurt her (wish her naked intentionally)... though he might by accident.

I can, actually, and the potential implications made me uncomfortable. Cordy and Xander were always at their best when they snarked at each other - when neither could really establish authority over the other. Yes, she ruled the school, but Xander never fully subscribed to her "reign" and when it came to Scooby things he was more knowledgeable/useful: they were equals.

Xander, CANON Xander, has shown himself to...not always think things through, especially when emotionally involved. He's also a teenage boy. I just wasn't comfortable with the idea of giving him that much power over Cordy.

clever, only just found this one. as for possible masters my vote would have to be Dr. Daniel Jackson of SG1 fame the potential for high jinks especially if the ever logical and scientific Sam got involved is just to good.

I think this demands a sequel. Who gets to be Cordy's Master? Somehow, the only three men I can see not beng total bastards about it are Oz, Giles, and Xander. I vote for Xander, as it'll cause the most havac with the lowest body count.
