I loved the Thunder Over Smallville series and have had a hard time finding another series that compared to that one. I really like what you have done with this story and for 13 chapters I didn't miss Thunder Over Smallville. Now what am I going to do?

Ohh...I had hoped things wouldn't go this way.
I kinda liked Dee, Mary too. They were nice girls. Will they be the only ones to die or others too? By the way, can't Chloe save them? I mean, she's done it before, she practically revived Lois. And where's Lois? I had hoped you would pair her with Oliver (I kinda like that couple).
I think this is a very good fic, even if I don't like the dying that much. Hope ou'll update soon.

This story is really good so far and I hope we will see you inspired to write a myriad of new chapters.

I'm really loving the way you're portraying this and the fact that the good guys won't be walking away from this battle entirely unscathed. It makes everything feel much more real and less comic-bookish, which is in pretty good keeping with the way Smallville handles a lot of things. I'm really looking forward to how you carry this forward from here.

Yes, It sucks to have a bad cliffy. Originally I didn't intend to do it this way. I had a big 10,000 word chapter for the final battle and I went back and scrapped almost the entire thing.

Do you know how painful that was? I was depressed for 3 weeks and didn't write a thing. But I started over and released this 1600 word chapter. I hate doing it so short, but I had to get it out to prove to myself I could. So hopefully I can finish what I started

As of recently I am not a big fan of the "Happy Ending" so it should be very realistic as to what it would be like in terms of an actual battle being played out on the farm.

There are only five people I want walking away from this without major injuries the rest is up for grabs as I write. I hope I don't disappoint.

Thanks for the kind comment. I should have Chap 13 out no later than the weekend. It's going to be a larger than normal chapter ... maybe 6-7000 words so it's taking a little longer. Thanks for sticking with me!

OMGS this is too kool. I just found this story and while there were a few parts that were hard to follow and some that seemed forced I am very pleased with the whole effect. Seems to follow a bit along the lines of Thunder over Smallville as well. Keep up the good work I am interested in seeing where you go with this.

Actually The Thunder Series is my favorite fic of the moment, and was very inspirational in the creating of this fic. I hope I've seperated the two enough to not copy the ideas of the author. And other than the Greek Gods being influential I think I have.

Hey, did you get the title from that Paramore song? If you did, that is really cool.

Why yes I did. Not a lot of people noticed. Good eye!

The title to the next story (which I'm currently outlining) is going to be "For a Pessimist I'm Pretty Optimistic" which is the first track of the same CD "Riot" It'll be a BTVS cross this time. It's why I'm posting the first story here.

I listen to the CD frequently while I'm writing. With the quick beat and strong vocals I type quite fast and it always helps with the comedy portions of the story.

WOW!! This is very engaging. Loved the premise and especially that C/C are together. I like how you have managed to bring together Diana and the new editions into the Smallville world. I can't wait to read what happens next.

This is intriguing and VERY engaging. I love that Chloe and Clark are together, they are totally the OTP of Smallville. The new additions are cool. I'm not familiar with the DC and other comic universes and I like that I don't have to be to get into the story. Good work.

Thanks for the very nice comments. I try to make the story as interesting as possible, and a little high tempered drama and a bit of comedy tends to do just that. I really wish I knew what OTP meant ... only thing I can come up with at the moment that makes any sense is Only True Pair. Did I get it right?

With the additional girls I really tried to give them a decent origin so not many questions would be asked except maybe who they were before Belle Reve and how they wound up there, much like the comic universes anyway.

But anyway you look at it each new character even if they are a knock-off of a comic needs some exposition.
