Ok, so I've gotten interested in this series and def. want to read it. So I'm going to do that, and you'll update, capiche? Good doing business with you. Lol, looking forward to the next part.
Sholto, King of the Slaugh... the most frightening beings of Faerie. How's he gonna react to Dawn, and to being her father? Merry giving birth makes her in line for Queen. Does this mean that her cousin will be trying to kill Dawn and her sister? Does Dawn have power now? I like the story so far, and I am definitely curious to know more.

I just finished "A Lick of Frost' yesterday. Finished it in 3 days, I couldn't put it down. Bummer what happened to Frost. And Taranis needs to a straight-jacket. Mad as a march hare.

Again, I love this chapter. I wholly support the Dawn/Aisling pairing that you seem to be hinting at here. Aisling never gets enough love; I think they'd make a great mix. ;). I love how the characters are developing, and Andais' reaction to Dawn was spot-on. I am very much looking forward to seeing how Dawn reacts to Sholto and visa versa. I adore Sholto. You are doing a wonderful job mixing the two worlds; I can't wait to read more of this!

Wasn't Aisling exiled from the Seelie court because the Sithen responded to him and somebody was jealous? So...is he interested in Dawn as a nubile female or in her as the oldest daughter of the queen? The courts have been separate for a long time, and most of the Sidhe are portrayed as comfortable with that separation. Could be quite the coup if Aisling could convince Dawn to go along with the idea.

I don't know if Cel is dead or not--D'oh! I've sorta been boycotting LKH since her stuff became more porn than stories--but methinks that either way his supporters are gonna be cranky that one of Merry's daughters is fully capable of kicking butt.
Anyway, here's hoping for future prolific success in your writing.

Comments from author:
Her last couple of books have been tuned down on the hanky panky. I think it's her ways of taking in the fans comments.
Cel is alive as of the last book, and he has been set free. But Andias has been holding him back. She was pissed as all hell that he never gave the female guards a chance to leave after Essus died so she gave them a chance to join Merry w/o the jiggy part.
umm... Also Taranis is about to be de-throned and Hugh asked Merry to become queen. He went crazy and kidnapped and raped her to prove he could have children. But she was already prego.
And Frost is 'dead'
