I am very curious about the dynamic between these two characters and wonder how it will change once they are free...hope you continue the story!

That was really short, but it made up for it's shortness with the passion and the intensity you've maneged build up. It takes a really talent to manege to say so much in so little words...

I have to say that it is very good writing when you can keep them in character even during the sex. :-D I enjoyed Riley's thoughts. It was very real. That you can find something good and strong and pure without it being all flowers and courting, can find it during bad times. In my mind it but a definite line between him and Buffy and what he and Dean could have. I am so going to cross my fingers in rooting for him! For them. And I have to say the title is very apropos. :-)

I really love this verse. It means a lot to me and I don't want to mess it up. I struggled with it for a long time. Went through a couple different drafts, a couple different approachs of Dean with Riley and this is what I settled on (just kinda jumping in). I may go back and do backstory, but I don't feel like I necessarily need to.

And don't worry, it won't be all flowers, roses and sunshine but I have a very good feeling these two boys will pull through just fine.

I love the verse idea you set up with this fic. Seeing Riley and Dean bond in such a horrible place almost makes up for the horrible place. Almost.

Did I mention at any time that I love the info you placed in about their mouths and how they haven't had toothbrushes and toothpaste in forever... Just one of those little details that is nice to read.

Thanks so much for the review. I love adding in those little details because I believe it makes the characters more real - allows the reader to kinda understand their mental state just a little more.

It is actually kinda AU set after Season Six of Buffy (from when Riley returns) and set before the Supernatural series. I need to go add that, otherwise no one will have any idea...
