Review of chapter "Chapter Eight" from darkmagician
Review:
Such a shame to see this end so soon. I do hope that you continue. I found this story intriguing. BTW, I personally would've made Faith a wereleopard, but then, I'm partial to cats like Nathaniel and Micah.
Comments from author:
I'm glad you found the story intriguing.

As for continuing, right now I have some vague ideas, basically based on ideas I had originally that just didn't get worked in, but so far it isn't going anywhere. Basically I need to start seeing scenes playing out in my head involving the characters before I can properly get started.
The downside is that while the characters in the sequel will probably start out behaving better than the ones in this story, that won't last because events will end up twisting them too. ;)

About leopards - I kinda hate all the canon wereleopards. I didn't always hate them, well, I kinda always hated Micah, but the others I liked until more recent canon, and now can barely stand them, except for possibly Zane and Cherry.

Review:
And I'm the one who asked the most! I completely forgot about Katherine the Great. Oh well. Faith Lehane as a wererat. Didn't see that one coming. Nice twist. Are you sure you're not M. Night Shyamalan?

He directed the following movies: The Sixth Sense, Lady in the Water, Unbreakable, Signs, and The Village. He also wrote a book for Lady in the Water.
Comments from author:
Katherine was great fun, and I'll confess that despite everything I've always felt a bit sorry for her. I know she's not a good person and needed her butt kicked, but her story always seemed a bit tragic to me. Of course, I really love Amy too, but since I was twisting every thing and every one here I might as well twist Amy and Katherine as well.

As for Faith, I always knew she was going to be something other than human, but that she wouldn't be a vampire. Early in I had thought she'd be a werewolf because I had thought about the tension that could stir up between Faith and Oz and by extension Faith and Willow, but when I actually got to Faith's part in the story she became a wererat instead of a wolf.

I'm not M. Night Shyamalan, but I'm flattered. Though I'll be honest and admit that I don't know his work, while I have heard of him I've just never come across anything by him. Now I may have to seek him out just to see. ;)

mmmh...yes, i saw the amy stuff coming, sort of, but put it on the back birner of my mind : D

Anyway, kind of annoyed by everyone having loads of power, and everyone being quite nasty :/

hope they regain some sort of humanity :D

Whilre it is better plot wise, it is strange ot have a wilow whose potential isn't lightyears ahead of everyone else's.
Comments from author:
Sorry, but sometimes I do like me some superpowers. Mostly, though this story was started back when I was still a bit (understatement) bitter about Xander not getting some shinny powers of his own. I went through a brief phase where all I could think about was superXander, so to speak.

As for regaining humanity, your probably going to be disappointed, because that doesn't actually happen in this story. If the mythical sequel ever happens, it might (big might) start to happen then, but to be honest I doubt it, because if I can even get enough to make the sequel a-go right now my head/muse/ideas/whatever you call it is telling me that said sequel will actually be more about the characters (or at least some of them) that we didn't see in this fic. However, if it happens, the characters in the sequel will be more like their canon characters than the ones in this one, so they will (or at least should) be more likeable. Although, I must admit in a dark twisted way I love the twisted characters in this fic.

Review:
I was pretty sure that was the case but I did not really know if it was important to the story. And honestly if it was not Amy that you were going to bind him to I was going to think it was either Andrew or Jonathan (Which in all honesty might not be much better) or maybe even Marcy or O'Toole (after all you don't have a necromancer in any of your Triumvirates). So at the moment the last triumvirate would be Buffy's which I would have to think would either be Wesley or Billy Fordham (would a wereleopard infection reverse cancer when they shift?).

The story is still very decent I hope you update again soon,
~Reflections
Comments from author:
Actually, I really hadn't considered O'Toole for any of my Buffy/Anita crossovers until you (I believe it was you, might have been someone else) started talking about him in a review for "Ties."

However, there was a reason I avoided dealing with a necromancer based Tri in this fic. Early on, I did originally consider not "killing" Willow but making her a necromancer and then later a human servant - I'm sure I could have fanwanked her getting away and not becoming a vampire even without Buffy and Xander there to save her. But there were two reasons why I took a different path with Willow - the main one being that I really liked the Willow/Cordelia angle when it came to me, and secondly I was a bit afraid if I went that route it might seem like I was merely writing the Anita characters and slapping the names of Buffy characters on them.

As for Buffy, I doubt she'll be creating a tri herself. Of course, if I come back for a sequel anything is possible, even though the main story of this still mythical sequel would be about other characters, mostly Gunn, but adding in a few others that we didn't see in this one. But one reason I didn't give Buffy a tri for this story was because I honestly thought it was a bit much allowing both Willow and Xander make a Tri. I know it might not seem such, but Tris in the AnitaVerse are actually rare things. So having two Tris seemed a bit much without adding in a third one.

Mmmmmm.....Spicy! Just the way I like it! I don't see too many Buffy/Tara fics that are believable, but this one is pretty nice. And throwing in Xander as a threesome...very tasty. Excellent story! Keep up the great work!
Comments from author:
Glad you are liking this. Thanks for reviewing.

About Buffy/Tara, believe it or not, but B/T isn't actually one of my ships - I don't hate it, I just don't ship it, but when I wrote this story B/T sorta just happened, and once it did it felt like the right thing.

Review of chapter "Chapter Six" from TOM
Review:
Very cool read. All these characters are so deliciously unlovable! A nice change! From Willow to Xander and Buffy, what a bunch of pretentious wankers! Dark indeed!
In fact the only one I feel something for is Cordelia. She's really unlucky whatever universe she falls on..
Keep going!
Comments from author:
Thank you. I'm glad you are liking this - I mean I love my heros as much as the next guy, but sometimes you just want the Anti-Heros, or at least I do.

I'm also glad you feel for Cordy, because I felt very bad for her myself as I wrote this, but as I said to another reader - it just seemed fitting somehow that no matter what Cordy seems to get screwed. It happened all the time on Buffy, and while it seemed (for awhile) things were different on Angel, by the end we discovered they weren't so different for Cordy after all.

Wow...Harsh Tara, there. So Buffy has an animal to call, the ardeur, and an human servant now? That's quite a deal more powerful than willow >_< (lol) given that willwo doesn't have a special power like the ardeur, and her human servant has no magic (hough she odes have a triumvirate, but buffy can have one too).

Sniff lol

Good work!
Comments from author:
*giggles* Thanks.

As for who is more powerful, in my head Buffy and Willow are about the same. Because Buffy won't be creating a tri, unless my plans greatly change (and on this I don't think they will), so because of that things are more even between them.

Anyway, there will be a bit more about Tara and the way she thinks coming up, so as to hopefully show that at the core she is still Tara, just a darker one. And, of course, being bound to a vampire means that she's probably only going to get darker not lighter.

Definitely like this story though I am wondering where it is headed.

You said that you wanted this to be quite sexual but you did not include sex scenes there are ways to imply it without the physical descriptions. For example you could make Xander wince when he sits down for a few hours or give him a slight limp with a large grin or maybe as something as simple of Angelus handing him a soft cushion before he sits down.

~Reflections
Comments from author:
As for where its going - I'm no longer entirely sure. I mean I still have an ending in mind for this fic, but because of the back and forth with readers I'm thinking about trying to get my ideas together for things that didn't make it into this fic and working on a sequel. *shrug* I don't know if it'll happen, but talking about the ideas I had for/about other characters with my readers has gotten those ideas playing around in my head again. So I am starting to think about attempting the sequel which would cover theose things while also expanding on this story itself.

I like the darker Tara, I do believe that she actually would kill her family for the way that they treated her. Cool!

Can't wait to see who Xander picks for his human servant, and I love the fact that Xan's a mora, highly amusing.

Cushty!
Comments from author:
Thanks for reviewing, and I'm glad you like the darker Tara - I was a bit afraid that would be a bit much for people, since as a general rule Tara is a really gentle person in spite of everything.

As for who Xander will choose - Well, I'm hoping the Xander reveal will be a big surprise for everyone.

This was an excellent chapter. Totally AU Tara. Killing her family? Not her normal personality. And a big hello to Miss Kitty Fantastico. I hope that some of my ideas were a big help in your brainstorming process. I'd like your opinion on my story "Healing," if you don't mind. Any ideas you'd like to offer would be appreciated.
Comments from author:
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.

I agree that Tara is quite a bit different here, but I kinda always thought Tara should have been a bit more bitter about everything. *sigh* A fictional character is a better person than I am, and hey I usually respect that, but I really wanted her in this fic and to do that she needed to be just a bit darker than usual.

About your story, I don't know if I'd have any helpful comments or not - sometimes "I love it, more please" is about the best I can personally do on feedback. However, I'll hop over there and check it out when I'm on a writing break.

Review of chapter "Chapter Five" from ReflectionsOfReality
Review:
You know that it is entirely possible that both Xander's and Buffy's ability are actually the same just different ends of the scale, they would just depend on the Vampire's mental nature from before their turning. Conversely I do wonder if the two of them were to target the same mortal if their powers combined would be enough to kill them easily where alone they would have to put a lot of effort in order to do so. I also wonder what sort of business would feed Xander compared to a Strip Club for Buffy; An amusement park? A freak show? Oh I know! The high adrenaline stuff like bungee jumping, sky diving, rock climbing or trick plane flying! Or there is the slightly easier method of having the night hag attend monster movie marathons, though it would be fun for him to sit in on children films and make a theater full of kids scared of Santa Claus or certain purple dinosaurs or chocolate factories...

Is that an evil thought?
~Reflections

PS The easiest way to merge Harry Potter and Anita Blake universes is to first make the Harry Potter series be before the Vamp legislation and second have the masking of the preternatural world in Harry Potter be a combination of wizard (false) views of superiority and a conspiracy to hide it by the Ministries so as not to disturb the status quo.
For instance Remus Lupin is without pack because for the fact that he is were he is also wizard borne and raised so the thought he needs pack is ludicrous to his conscious mind but without pack and its other half denying its existence the wolf is nothing but a blood thirsty crazed beast.
In this light Fenrir Greyback is one part misinformation and one part unstable.

Thanks for responding to my review and I sort of had this thought for the other story where you mentioned both boys would get slash pairings, what would the rest of the Black's do if they ended up together? Not to mention if you were to go the slightly unrealistic male-pregnancy route, personally I would prefer egg nuclei substitution with surrogacy if you really want a child of both the males genetic donation.

PPS Any chance that we will get some Xander/Angelus action any time soon? cause at the moment he almost seems like an unwanted third wheel with some minor sex toy options.
Comments from author:
Not evil at all. Well, okay, maybe, but I could see a vampire with this power doing things like that just to get their kicks. However, according to Hamilton (I think again in "Blue Moon") a night hag can just turn the fear up and make people scared simply be being around them, so Xander wouldn't necessarily need a club himself, and I'm sure there are some clubs where Angelus wouldn't want him hanging out in anyway.

As for the other story - do not worry, I don't write MPREG. I've read some pretty good ones, but I'm just not interested in trying to write it myself. I do have a plan there that does involve slash, but doesn't involve MPREG. However, I don't write babies either, just not something I've found I can do, but the set-up is there for it to work out.

As for Xander/Angelus - I like it, I really do, and Xander and Angelus do have a scene together (in WAMP) coming up, but it isn't really slashy in nature. Even in TFiBM, while Xander will be slashed it won't be with Angelus even there.

For some reason in WAMP I wanted things to be uber sexual with everyone, but I ended up not actually writing even one sex scene - strange, but sometimes that's the way it ends up working out.

Review:
Again with the excellent. I really like how you're handling this. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised to see an alternate-reality Lorne singing in Angelus' casino. I also figured out some things from your reply to my last review. W&H: they're the firm who worked the case to get the law passed about vamps and lycans becoming normal citizens (though they're still dealing with prejudice). Warren and Andrew belong to the Church of Eternal Life. I can see Robin becoming an Executioner. Gunn...maybe. Lockley...it's a possiblity. Wesley might be an Animator. Fred...who can say?
Comments from author:
Thanks for reviewing, I'm really glad you are enjoying this.

You are close on some, bit off with other. With Lorne, while I love him deeply, the AnitaVerse doesn't have friendly/tame demons, so alas back when I originally wrote this I really hadn't planned a Lorne arc at all. However, since he's one of the "not here" characters that I can't imagine happily ever after because he actually hated his home dimension so much - I might would have fudged him into one of Angelus' clubs anyway - just cause I like him so much. After all, Anita doesn't know everything about everything. ;)

About Warren and Andrew, in my head, they aren't hanging out with the tame/nice vampires (I.E. the church), but instead hanging out with those they see as true power vamps, cause Warren would fancy himself on their level I think. Of course, this was mainly just cause I hate Warren, and wouldn't mind seeing him played with a bit, if you know what I mean. Anyway, as I mentioned when I originally wrote this one I still hated Andrew too, if I came back now, I might allow Andrew to escape that fate, but would probably allow him to be played with a bit before that.

Gunn, I admit, I had this whole plan for him that never really got going, where he and his gang were doing their thing and that Gunn (maybe the whole gang) eventually teamed up with Edward... Of course, Edward was eventually going to get caught and turned (in that plan), but that wouldn't have been for awhile, because originally I was planning for it to be Edward and Gunn that sort of merged the Buffy and Anita characters together, or at least lead to the main Buffy characters meeting the main Anita ones.

About Wesley and Fred - I loved *her* when she became the blue chick, but didn't like her as Fred at all. And since the blue chick wasn't actually around when I originally did this story, I hadn't given Fred much thought. Now I admit I'm thinking about her again, but still Fred probably wouldn't end up in this story, except possibly as a way to explain how one (Fred) was taken to explain how Lorne might would end up in this reality. However, as for Wesley, I admit I had a few ideas, but his role would have probably ended up being a bit like Cordys here - you know, victim.

Hey!!
What Are wllow's powers then, beside pure strength, and animal to call? While i don't share your love for dark!willow, i like badass!willow well enough. My problem is that i can't see a situation where a later willow could not obtain something if she wanted it enough to become dark...a good exemple of this would be the amulet fic of mediancat :D

/me wondering what you are planning ,and hoping that Willow doesn't become too dark, as i have trouble liking a story if i can't identify a bit with the characters.
Comments from author:
Well, I can assure you that Willow has reached the end of her "new" powers, if I were to come back with a sequel, I might have her experimenting with magic, but I really doubt I'll be doing a sequel here. Way back a long time ago I was going to, but so much time has passed and all that I'm just not sure I could capture the original voices of this fic again to do a sequel.

To be honest, (sadly or not depending on your point of view) Willow's role in the remainder of this fic isn't near as large as it has been up to now, because now the story branches out so we can see/study other characters, such as Buffy (lightly), Xander (bit heavier), Tara, and several others (such as Faith).

Review of chapter "Chapter Four" from darkmagician
Review:
Excellent. Keep up the good work. Now I'm wondering about the Initiative, Dawn, Tara, Glory, Halfrek, the First, the Trio, Robin...There's just so many characters to keep track of, including the L.A. group. Also find myself wondering about W&H's place in all this.
Comments from author:
Thank you.

Now lets see - Dawn is not in this story - in fact she's rarely (if ever) in my stories because I really just don't like her, and so I tend to leave her out because I'm afraid I'd just end up bashing her if I included her. Tara, on the other hand, will be along shortly.

As for Glory, Halfrek, the First, the Trio, Robin, and so on - well, I kinda feel about Glory and the Trio like I do Dawn, so they aren't here. Though, I admit, in my head I do have this idea that Warren (and possibly Andrew, though I don't entirely hate Andrew anymore) are vampire freaks, or at least trying to hang out with vampires in the hopes he'd be turned, but vamps being vamps mostly just play with him. As for Halfrek, since Anya's part is basically over we don't find out really anything more about her or Halfrek - this would be something that might would come up in a sequel, alas I'm not sure there will be one.

The First is a bit different, my thinking on this was because when Anya rewrote things she not only took away Buffy being the Slayer, but she actually ended/erased the entire Slayer line. And in doing so there would be no Slayer death/ressurection to upset the balance and give the First his/its opening to rise.

Finally, Robin, to be honest, I never really thought about him when doing this story. But I like to think that he (like Kendra) probably had a much better happier life this time around. His mother wouldn't have been the Slayer so she could have raised him and probably didn't die, at least not when he was a baby. Sure, Spike does exist here, but vampires in this reality aren't really allowed to travel like they were in the BuffyVerse, so Spike might never have encountered his mom. But even if he did since she wasn't the Slayer he probably wouldn't have killed her. On the other hand, I admit it is interesting to think about a vampire killing his mother anyway and then he goes on to become a vampire hunter. Although, I admit that sometimes I'm just an old softie at heart and like to imagine the happily ever after stuff.

Wolfram & Hart is kinda like Anyaka, Hallie, and Robin, it might be something interesting to do in ye-old-mythical sequel. Sadly the only member of the LA Group that I've really considered in this is Gunn - I suspect he and his gang are doing what they do best. But he's not in this story either, and he's truly the only one of them that I've really given any thought too.

Liked that quite a bit, though buffy and co are still pretty stupid as of yet :D

I have a feeling Cordelia won't last long...too bad. It would be interesting if willow captured the "notes" about the future from the other anyanka.

Good work.
Comments from author:
Thanks, I'm glad to know that my little transition worked (for at least one person).

Anyway, I wouldn't count Cordelia out just yet... She might just capture Willow's heart in spite of everything. *shrug* She might not, though. ;)

As for Willow and Anya compairing notes, I agree it would probably be interesting, but alas Anya doesn't have another scene in this story.

About the shallow, to be honest, the way this story is set up, Buffy (at least) will remain somewhat shallow through the rest of the story, though hopefully not as shallow as she has been. However, some of the other characters will start growing up a bit from this point forward.
