this is a great little story... i can't believe you didn't go on to show where Veruca/Oz got captured by the initiative, and somehow Dan gets to be part of the pile of rescuers, and actually help the scoobies... Of course, once a scooby always a scooby, and Oz and Veruca both learn to tame and use their inner werewolf and work with Tara and Willow to save the world... If you don't want to write it, maybe i will have to... With your permission of course. After my finals...

Thanks for a cool story that brought one of my favorite new shows into contact with my favorite old show of all time. The idiots who killed Journeyman need to be tortured by Angelus, faith and evil willow. You think there's a vengeance demon who specializes in canceled TV shows?

You would be more than welcome to write Dan's adventures with The Iniatative, contact me if you ever do and I'll open the story up so you can add a chapter.

Bit shocked this has only two (three now!) reviews. Although I didn't think this was one of your best fics its still a lot better than a lot of stuff that gets tons of reviews!

Good Points.
It used an unusual character as the POV and had a possibly more believable ending than the original.

Bad Points.
Mainly it just didn't grab me so much as your other fics have. Might be it was too 'shipy' for my tastes, being more into action myself.

However it wasn't a 'bad' fic by any means and it was worth reading the once, but I doubt I'd go back to it.

I suppose the story just isn't very good and people are too nice to tell me. I loved the story in my head but found it tricky to write down and get it across.

I find it hard to describe obsessive love without repeating sentences because I think that's what it's like when you are madly in love with someone, but I'm going to have to think of a different way to convey the addicted emotional feeling of true love in future.

But that will be fun unlike researching weapon brand names.

Nice touch with the saving of the random diabetic :)

They're canceling Journeyman? Ouch. I like that show and I loved Day Break. I hope Journeyman at least gets to air until the end of the season.

I liked Daybreak too. Sorry about the puppy that's a really miserable thing to have happen at Christmas.

I see you wrote up the Veruca PoV idea. Good deal. ;) Veruca and Oz disappear together at the end? Better resolution than the Whedon version.

Veruca and Oz disappear because I realised that the Iniatative would vivisect the pair of them if both remained on campus. Their disapearance in this story was not necessarily a happy ending.

An alternate S4 with Veruca and Oz dating would have interesting angles. Eg Something Blue and Willow's wishes. 'I wish Oz's penis would fall off the next time he has sex with that slut.'
