ok, now this is mean!!! this is totally a teaser!! I really can't wait to read the whole story now. a YAHF with Buffy getting the cool powers would be intersting on its own (how would giles/the council react) but since I really really love the SGC, a x-over would be even better!!! pleasepleaseplease (and I mean this in the nicest possible way) maybe post a few chapters of your story? pleeeeeease?

No offense, but I'm freaking confused. You're referencing a whole bunch of events and people that I've never heard of before. Which could be a personal deficiency on my part, but I'm into the verse enough that if I don't know it, it's obscure. So a a/n would be nice. Also, as a story, it's sort of lacking point. Which however, makes it fairly efficient as a teaser.
back story would be great but as a teaser this is cool and am looking forward to the release of the actual story so get your skates on and gimme som more :D lol

**Disclaimer: Buffy belongs to Whedon. Stargate belongs to MGM. Starling and the ship belong to me (Legally. Yes, I can sue you.).**
I honestly can't believe that you had the balls to write that last bit in your disclaimer.
So you have the audacity to write fiction - using other peoples' characters, work, ideas - BUT it's not okay for others to borrow your work (character and/or ship)?
That seems like a pretty shitty double standard.
I think if you are going to broadcast the fact that you will sue if other people borrow your work then you should seriously reconsider writing in other peoples' recognized realms.
Comments from author:
Hey, calm down, I certainly didn't mean it that way.
It is a (relatively) fresh idea, and unpublished as of yet. I have no problem with people writing fan fiction with it - I have given it to countless RPG groups for them to play. But a lot of people read this site and similar ones, and I don't want my ideas stolen, especially since they are not published yet and all I have is a single piece of paper proclaiming a couple of names and concepts as mine. My point: Don't go running off with my ideas, give proper credit, and no profit... That's all I ask.
Interesting teaser, though evidently there's one hell of a lot of backstory we're missing.
On another note, if Major Carter, who has a Doctorate in Astrophysics -doesn't- know what a singularity reactor is, somebody needs to tear up her certificate.
Comments from author:
Well, she worded the question awkwardly in her rush. She knows 'what' it is. She just doesn't know exactly 'how' it works. A self contained singularity at the core of a ship is more than a bit beyond even current Goa'uld or Asgard technology, which she is familiar with.
