Oh my gosh! I just wanted to let you know I literally squealed with joy when I got the email saying there was an update. So glad to see you continuing with this and can't wait to read more. :) this chapter was great and I love how you are working in all the stuff with the slayers. You have done such a great job of giving them individual voices and I look forward to seeing what happens next.

Review of chapter "Cogito Ergo Sum, Part 3: Tabula Rasa" from Shadowman
Review:
I have just finished reading this series and have enjoyed it a great deal. I really hope we will be seeing further updates in the not to distant future.
I don't have any ideas for the Dawn side of the story as such, but I do think with the size of this story the full tale would probably best be told in a separate story with only little interludes like you have already done mentioned in this one and the reverse in the other story.

Review of chapter "Cogito Ergo Sum, Part 3: Tabula Rasa" from Lithie
Review:
I just finish reading this story for the second time and I love it as mush as the first time. Hope you still plan to update 'cause I'm already missing it!!

The number of characters you're dealing with in is quite staggering, especially the original ones. I think it's one of the reason I love the story. They are all unique and true without overwhelming the other. My favorites are Kay and yours latest addition of Hal.

Sorry i don't have any idea for your Dawn plot. To be honest, I'm not really interested in their whereabouts, you've put enough plot to keep me entertain. So good luck with it.

Voila! I so look forward to read more of Faith's journey! Please! :)

Review of chapter "Nothing to Fear" from (Recent Donor)Sulien
Review:
Ah, yes...the place from "Torment of Tantalus"! Yeah, those are some seriously old bootprints! And, boy, are Faith and the other two slayers going to be disappointed when they find out that not only is the DHD broken, but the 'Gate doesn't have any power, even if they dial manually. I'm really interested to see what you do with this one.... *runs off to read the next chapter*
Comments from author:
Good catch! :D Glad you're still enjoying it, and thanks for reviewing! *hugs*

Review of chapter "SG-13" from (Recent Donor)Sulien
Review:
Surprised I didn't set off all the dogs in the neighborhood with the squee when I read that Mini!Jack was going to be a part of this! Also, the idea of Andrew on a 'Gate team makes me laugh my ass off every time I think about it. I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of this and hope you get the plot bunnies in line to finish it some day.
Comments from author:
I love Mini-Jack! And he just seemed like the logical choice to head up SG-13... after all, who other than himself can Jack trust to head up such a challenging team? I fought really hard against including Andrew on the 'Gate team at first and then surrendered to the inevitable. Now I can't picture things without him! If you've got any ideas for him, I'd love to hear them. I always like to hear what my reviewers would like to see happen.
Don't worry, I WILL finish this series. Still chugging away at it. :)

Review of chapter "Cogito Ergo Sum, Part 3: Tabula Rasa" from LadyParadox
Review:
Wow, just wow. I've spent the better part of a week reading this series and it is fantastic. You are an amazing writer and the characterizations are spot on. I see it's been a while since there has been any activity on this and really hope that more is forthcoming.

Thanks so much!

Comments from author:
I am still writing Slayers, don't worry. :) Progress has been slow so far partly because of the reasons I gave in chapter 30, but also because I got Sims 3 back in November and lost a couple of months to it. Fortunately the addiction has mostly passed and your review spurred me to pick up the threads again. Until recently I was concentrating on the Buffy/Willow/Dawn plotline but I've turned my attention back to chapter 31 and hopefully I should have something new for you to read before too long.

Reviews like yours are what keep me writing fanfic. Thank you for your kind comments and I'm so pleased that you liked what you read.

Review of chapter "Cogito Ergo Sum, Part 3: Tabula Rasa" from RevDorothyL
Review:
Love this glimpse of Faith having to deal with the normal "Watcher-type" duties of logistics and long-term planning (and doing it well, no matter how uncomfortable it makes her . . . especially when there are cheering crowds and adoring young wanna-be heroes involved).
Comments from author:
:D It's going to be nice for the slayers to have a more permanent base in the world, isn't it? Of course, it's not all going to be plain sailing (as Faith's already discovering) but at least it's better than bouncing from planet to planet like a ping pong ball! Thanks (as ever) for reviewing, and I'm really pleased that you liked it. :D

Love the utter Teal'c-ness of giving lessons in kel'no'reem to a young Slayer while he's manacled in the basement of a house full of Slayers and SG13!
Comments from author:
*lol* It's so Teal'c, isn't it! :D Glad you loved it. Thanks for reviewing! *hugs*

Review of chapter "Cogito Ergo Sum, Part 1: Valhalla" from RevDorothyL
Review:
I'm enjoying Halstrom as a potential Watcher for the off-world Slayer contingent -- very nice touch to make him a bibliophile, as well as a secret free-thinker and decent guy.
Comments from author:
I'm really glad you're enjoying him because I really like him too! For a spur-of-the-moment character, I think he's developed well, and it's been fun getting to know him. He should integrate nicely into the group once the Slayers get over their natural distrust and I'm hoping that he'll go on to make a good Watcher-type for them.

I'm pleased you reviewed, I was worried you might have missed the update when it got buried almost immediately. Hope that you and yours are all well.

Review of chapter "Cogito Ergo Sum, Part 1: Valhalla" from draconis
Review:
Great couple of chapters (27-28). Enjoyed the detail and the character interactions.

Wondering if you're going to eventually explain the Prior's staff being cut in half...not only how it was possible (why didn't Prior use powers to force Slayer away?) but WHY it didn't explode.

Also hoping you'll eventually explain HOW someone knew Vala would be at that restaurant at that time. After all, not even a day had gone by since the 'date' was made. A mole? Someone somehow wiretapping SGC phone calls to all civilian facilities?

Since Ancient teaching device in Atlantis can speak/understand English, it's not too out of the realm of believability that the jumper could be made to provide the jumper's information in English if only one of the Slayers thinks to command it to do so.

And...will any Slayer think to try to communicate with SGC (or other) by dialing Stargate and using the jumper's communications?
Comments from author:
Really glad you liked them. :) Thank you for reviewing! :D *hugs* Now, let's move on to the gossipy spoilers... ;)

Yep, there's an explanation ready and waiting for the destruction of the Prior's staff. As for why it didn't explode, the biggest hint I can give you is to point out that although Elifa was the one wielding the sword at the time, it didn't actually belong to her. Knowing whose sword it is should help you work out why it worked so well. :)

There was a hint as to how someone could know that Vala was at the restuarant at that time in an earlier chapter when Athena had Vala and the others under surveillance (it's how the Earth Ba'al Clone first learned about vampires and the women who slay them). I'm hoping to work in the background of how in the next chapter or two but it's due to a lack of background that's come directly from the show and the fact that I segued straight from Counterstrike to Momento Mori without a breaking chapter between.

That's a really good idea! I'm going to have to remember (and probably use) that. Hope you don't mind.

And dammit! I didn't think of that when I gave them a Puddlejumper to play with. Darn. Gotta stop that from happening or it'll screw the pooch entirely! Fortunately, I already had a storyline set up for when Liss eventually cobbles together some radios so I can transfer it over to the Puddlejumper if necessary. Which it probably will be.

Thanks again for the review!
