I wonder what effect (if any) Faith's arrival will have on Jack's plans to apply for custody of Dawn, more or less counting on the rest of the team to be co-parents as needed?

Yet another damned good SG1/BtVS crossover. Several good ones out there but all seem to come in spurts (hint, hint!).
Like how you're havin' the SG1 crew dealin' with Dawn, a very plausible mix of concern and caution. Once the scars are well known you know Jack's paternal instincts will kick in somthin' fierce.
Love Faith goin' in a mad paternal mode of her own. Faith ain't one ta feel anythin' half way and you know she'll do ANYTHIN' ta get ta Dawn. It does seem she's gettin' the safe route ta Earth so she don't get captured or splatted on some Gate protection.
Ya just know the reunion is going ta be a strange mix of tension and relief. I always imagined that Faith and Dawn got on like a house on fire (both know what its like ta be outside lookin' in) but Dawn is a Summers, and that means a talent for grudges! Once over though...well, Dawn was ready ta charge a shotgun-wieldin' cop ta help Faith, armed with nothing but good looks, an attitude, and a half-dozen scared teens!
Shows Dawn likely remembered good times with Faith, and wanted them back.

I would greatly appreciate it very much if Shezzi were able to come back to this fascinating story and continue updating it!!! The last update was just less than a year ago!
