OMG!OMG!OMG! *geeks out like whoa* You updated! *does crazy happy dance of joy!* I'm just sorry it took me so long to read the new chapter, I was house-sitting for a friend of mine and when I get home what do I find but this gem of wonder waiting to be read!

I was on pins and needles the whole time reading this chapter, I loved/hated/loved that you started out with precious Sammy being attacked then went to Buffy's POV on how her day went leading up to rescuing Sasquatch from the Big Bad Wolf. It lent great tension to the whole chapter *thinks you're an evil genius*.

So Buffy and Dean have finally met \o/ and she slapped him...well he probably had it coming. Now if they were together when Buffy was fifteen I'm guessing Dean wasn't much older so it's not exactly his fault that he had to leave, but he could at least have said "goodbye" *sigh* I love that boy but he sucks at basic human interaction. Was Buffy already the slayer when they were together? Because fifteen is when she was called. And if "yes" then does Dean know or do we get fun "you're a what now?" conversation?

My head is just swirling with all kinds of questions! I can't wait till the next chapter...but sadly it seems I must. I love reading through this with Emerson Hart's song in my head, it gives all sorts of wonderful subtext to the character's interactions :-) Oh and great chapter!

I have to wonder: if Sam got the crazy idea she was one of the demon-possessed, and tried his mojo-exorcism thing--would black smoke start pouring out? (ie the slayer essence) ----

"Shivering, she tucked her hands into the pockets of her leather jacket and then promptly decided that it wasn’t a good idea to do that when she almost lost her balance and stumbled a few steps in the now thigh deep snow."

I don't know why but the slapstick of that paragraph made me laugh.

Is Dean Pike?

Supernatural seems to be my new obsession and I'm liking this story so far, especially the history with Buffy and Dean.  And poor Sammy, Dean's never gonna let him live down being saved by a girl ;P~Dire Banshee

This is really good so far. I loved Buffy's reaction to Sam, and I can't wait to hear about the history with Dean. If he left her when she was fifteen, I wonder if he even knows she's the slayer. I can't wait to find out.

Really good start! I'm both totally confused and completely enthralled by what's going on here. Nice touch having Sam and Buffy flirting, while she still secretly pines for Dean, or so I'm sure he thinks. Of course if you decide to make this a nice smutty three-some I know that I for one wouldn't complain : ) Anywho, update soon, I want to know what happens next!

Side note, did you get the name for your story from the Emerson Hart, formerly of Tonic fame, song "If You're Gonna Leave"?

More excellent writing from you! And this story is so upbeat, well it was probably depressing for the cow's family, and what is the story with the cattle dismemberment? And why does Buffy not know Sam or visa versa, Dean obviously didn't carry around a family brag book.
