I'm a little tempted to bitch and moan and say "is that IT? You ENDED it? How DARE you not supply me with endless amounts of Xander/Riley!" (Rander? Xiley? One sounds like a sexual affliction and the other like a musical instrument. Then again, Spuffy sounds like something you'd need a prescription cream for, so I guess fandom as a whole isn't that picky). But I won't, because if I'm going to be honest, the story is short and sweet and nice just as it is.
But don't think I won't be hoping for more Xander/Riley from you in the future, because I will! I'll even pray to Santa for it if I have to!

I loved this story when I read it on your site; glad to see it here now. I think my favorite line in this chapter was:
"She wondered just when she had broken him."

I think this story has a lot of potential. I like your thoughtful, people smart characterization of Xander. I hope that this story gives him a reason to have a more positive outlook soon.
