Lol, oh I just love the idea of this story. And I can't wait to see the look on everyone else's faces when Max comes out of the base with a friendly escourt - and I'm not even sure if Max himself of just how used to aliens and alien tech the SG people are. I mean, these guys have likely spent more time with aliens than they have (and I mean, outside of their little group, 'cause somehow family kinda doesn't count). This is well-written so far and I hope you write more of it!
The Tabasco on the blue jell-o was a masterful touch! I'm also intrigued by the idea of the SGC offering to take in our band of Roswell refugees, if they're interested.

I do wonder if the Asgard or the Tok'ra have ever heard of the...Antarans? is that the name of his people? Might be one of the original 4 that created the gates or something. Also, the whole "it wouldn't do any good" to return might not be true, they've only heard info from the ones sent to kill them. They wouldn't reveal any political problems they might be having. The Roswell group + altered humans would be great recruits for the SGC, for sure. And the question comes up of why the SGC hasn't heard of them before when the FBI (maybe it was really NID?) had an 'alien hunter' unit that did know about them. And hasn't shared the info with them...

The moment at the end with the jello and tabasco sauce was made of WIN! I'm surprised that Max told Jack everything so easily, but in a way also glad, because I'm excited for SG-1 to meet the rest of the gang. More soon, please!

Max has a nice sense of style, including the classic "Mission Impossible" peel-off-the-face-mask homage he seems to be going for there, towards the end.
Also, I love how he tells Jack that Daniel possibly developing telepathy or telekinesis in a few years shouldn't be any big deal (I bet Jack shudders at the thought of what sorts of trouble Daniel can get into with any such 'up-grades'!).
Looking forward to the next installment, as always!

It'd be funny if Max's race is an offshoot of the Asgard. Or maybe the Furlings? There was one of the original races that was never shown in the SG series, I think .
