Selina still doesn't understand that Buffy improved her reading and judging abilities over the years. So she probably knew what Selina was thinking and planning to do. For Buffy it wasn't a though decision whom will cause the distraction. In Buffy's mind, giving her abilities, Buffy had more surviving chances than Selina ever would have.

I'm glad that Buffy still has some action even when another reviewer pointed out that there are more Slayers. It's a Buffy centered story so I would be disappointed if there wouldn't be Buffy action and a Buffy who would only sent other Slayers on missions would be boring. And lets face it Buffy in action is fun to read.

Read the story again from the beginning till the end and still good. Thanks for sharing.

If the pilot hadn't gotten so close to the boat, she wouldn't have been able to hit it. Also, don't tell anyone but she was aiming for the first jet.

Personally, I'm wondering how the jet's pilot is going to write up his report of how his plane's wing was damaged. Probably something along the lines of being shot at by an anti-aircraft weapon concealed somewhere along the beach, which he and his fellow pilot bravely destroyed with their missiles. ;-)

But the first two jets weren't carrying missiles. Plus given Buffy's feelings that caused her to throw the piece of metal at the jets in the first place, I doubt she will lose any sleep over the paper work the pilot will have to deal with for letting The People's Property be damaged, regardless of how it happened in reality.

How come Buffy still gets all the interesting missions? There are lots of Slayers to choose from now! This sounds like something else the board of directors will need to investigate :)
And now Buffy has experienced being strafed by Fighter jets!
Cool chapter, getting Selina right into the action with a time critical mission and some bonding time with Buffy too, since they had to work together.
I did notice a couple of sentences getting a bit long and unwieldy towards the end of the chapter though.
Like this one which was three lines long and contained 4 commas!

"Once the Buddha was offloaded, the boat quickly headed back out, away from the island in a direction that was consistent with the one where they went out of line of sight with the fighter and that was suposedly further into South Korean territory, though the North Korean’s might refute that claim, but away from the direction the jet would take off from."

Buffy brought Selina into the fold and it is only right for her to supervise her first foray into Special Acquisitions. However, I do believe she would have preferred to avoid the strafing.

I'm hoping that whoever was driving the boat managed to avoid getting shot, and swam back to shore, but was too late to catch the flight and is now awaiting alternate transportation.

I love this chapter. Selina is so in for it. I love Kathy and think she will make a great sidekick lol. Maybe even make Catwoman behave in a responsible manner as not to be a bad influence. I do hope there is more soon. I really love this series a lot. Love to see Buffy and Selena become better friends as well. I think they both would get each other in time.
