Cute. Sappy and a bit melodramatic, but cute. Point of interest: grammatically speaking, the last word should be resignation, not resignment. There's no such thing as 'resignment'. Also, misunderstanding of reciprocated interest (thus not unrequited, by the way, as an unrequited anything means that it is by definition entirely one-sided) that's THAT obvious is baffling and kinda sad. I never thought Giles was that oblivious around women. Shy and awkward, yes, but he did know how to pick up hints when they were hitting him like sledgehammers. But yeah, cute. ^_^
